Oh thank heavens for 3M and accurate grit numbers. The cheaper papers may say 150 grit but really work as if they are closer to 80. I am polishing wood pieces on a lathe, so I count on the grit numbers to be accurate. I will not be buying the cheaper sand papers again.

I’ve been using this type of sandpaper forever. It’s a bit more expensive but it lasts significantly longer than the traditional stuff and doesn’t tear as easily on a palm sander. Especially if it’s bare wood, you can just brush/tap the sawdust off and keep going.

This sandpaper is pretty long lasting, does not tear easily as some sandpaper does. it is fairly resistant to clogging, and is sharp enough to sand quickly. One claim that it makes is however not really true. the claim is that the back grips well so that it does not slip in your hand. It may be a little more slip resistant than some other types of sandpaper, but it still does slip when you use it.

Been using 3M stuff for years and I needed this item for some handmade wood working projects I've been working on. Excellent fit and retention when applied to the sander correctly, long lasting and doesn't clog too easily.

Perfect for sanding and smoothing up your house before painting. The wet or dry stays unclogged with a quick dunk in the water bucket or rinse off the sandpaper with the water hose. 3M sandpaper is the best

Pricey but it does resist clogging a lot better than most other paper back type sanding sheets I have used so it does last a bit longer. I would purchase again.

This must be the most durable sandpaper on the market. The grit easily outlasted any other paper I've used. It may cost a little more, but it is worth it.

Seems to last quite well. We were using our 6" cubitron discs for hand sanding. These are much faster and last longer.
