Sinus Rinse 16oz Extra Large Bottle

I was happy to come across this larger sized bottle. The smaller, more common size, always left me feeling like I wasn’t quite “done” - so I bought an electric flush system (not the one in the commercials), with a reservoir - I didn’t like it.One thing I would have liked was if the fill opening were larger too - it actually seems a bit smaller than the opening in the smaller bottle. Weird…If you like this sinus flush system (as I do), the larger bottle is, IMO, a MUST.This was a “perk-free” review.

Much stronger stream than I expected. It really gets the saline solution into the sinuses to where my ears opened as well. Great product as it's very effective.

This product is a definite MUST-HAVE!!!!If you like the benefits of a sinus rinse and are accustomed to using the widely available 8oz bottle, then make the investment and get this upgraded bottle. There's no going back to the little league after using this whopper-sized 16oz bottle! Seriously, I chucked the tiny bottle out!+ When you have more saline at your disposal, you simply get a much better wash! 8oz is simply not enough solution to get a thorough cleaning. At least for my big honker!+ This bottle provides the same water pressure as the smaller bottle. In fact you still have to squeeze the bottle just as gently to prevent clogging your ears.+ You pretty much have to fill this bottle once to get a good rinse from both sides. The routine of refilling the tiny bottle to wash the other nostril gets old pretty quickly.- The only real negative point is that this 16oz bottle is pretty fat compared to the tiny 8oz bottle, so storing this thing can be a pain in a small bathroom.Some options for nasal irrigation:1) Use non-iodized sea salt instead of buying the pre-packaged salt packets. It's cheaper and easy to use. I use this brand since it's widely available in Hawaii stores Hawaiian White Sea Salt From Hawaii Islands - 2lb Bag. I just eye-ball the same amount of sea salt as the Neilmed packets. Don't worry if you put in a little more salt than that. It usually makes for a better cleansing.2) I just recently discovered Alkalol - A Natural Soothing Nasal Wash, Mucus Solvent and Cleaner Kit - with Cup, 16-Ounce on Amazon. Add a little bit of this stuff to your saline mix. Alkalol turbocharges your ordinary saline solution and really helps to clear the junk out! It's pretty potent so start off slowly with this product.3) If you simply prefer to do the Neti-pot instead of the Sinus Rinse Bottle, get this one Stainless Steel Neti-Pot for Sinus Congestion (Ayurvedic JalNeti). It's pricy compared to the cheapy pots, but it's worth it. The metal pot keeps your saline solution at a consistent temperature and the big mouth opening makes it easy to add your sea salt mix (and Alkalol) inside.Hope this review was helpful to you. I’m a long time user of the Neil med sinus rinse bottle and saline packets. As someone who always uses at least 2 bottles at a time on a daily basis, this new, bigger bottle is going to be a huge convenience!!! Highly recommend!!

This product is a lot better than my little squeeze bottle from my last purchase. This holds a lot more water and the bottle is made more rubbery or silicone like. The sample packets it comes with are nice too. I still use the of brand saline dry packets as they are less expensive and work well.

Great product for when my kids are sick! Easy to use, directions are pretty simple, product was cheap and has pretty decent quality! Thanks so much for a quality product!

Better price than in store and this particular one I can’t even find locally. This stuff works so great to clear out your sinuses. Use this with a combination of Nasacort. Makes a huge difference honestly. A few things to note, YOU MUST use certain types of water. The sting will tell you that you used the wrong water and probably have a parasite now in your brain ;) but seriously use only the water it tells you to. Also start with one packet and go from there. I’ve used two packets and it’s a bit strong.Be prepared that if you move throughout the day you may leak out of your nose at random times, very odd feeling but once it’s all out so satisfying to breath again.Also last tip- clean this wel but THROW IT OUT if you get sick or after a couple months.

This bigger bottle in comparison to the one you get at the store is perfect!
