Trilogy. These movies have long since stopped being shown on regular TV since the Nicholas Gage version was released. Review: A Worthy Finaly To The Halicki Trilogy - I want to start this by saying ignore all the other reviews.What you have to understand about Deadline Auto Theft is yeah it is 90% footge from Gone In 60 Seconds and The Junkman his second film but he was not trying to rip people off as some reviewers think Deadline Auto Theft was intended as a little pet project of his own.By the time he wanted to do a 3rd picture he had been in the buisness a while now and had learned the tricks so hewanted to take the best of Gone and The Junkman and put them togeher for people who may not have seen either of the origionals kind of "you missed it the first time well here is the best of what you missed" I do think it was misleading to call it the 3rd in the trilodgy as its not really a new film but that doesn't matter.As for Gone 2 its a tragidy that it was never finished its great with sooooooo many crashes and The Slicer wedge stunt car if this had been finished I suspect this would be my favorite anyway if you new to Haliki films don't get this first you'll be confused get the origional Gone In 60 Seconds but for anybody who knows his work and is waery of getting this due to the other reviews I sugested you get it its definatly worth it We Won't Forget You Toby

Fulfilling a dream
Pretty amazing that one man had the ability to write, film, act, direct, market his own film. This was fun to watch knowing he brought his dream to life , and had the courage to overcome many obstacles to achieve it. It was a shame he was killed , his talents could have really teamed nicely with Spielberg, Bay, Bruckheimer, etc.

Three = One?
I started watching this movie, Deadline Auto Theft, and about 10 minutes into the movie I realized, that it seemed rather familiar. Then it hit me, it was the same as the first movie, just with a different introduction. The only difference between the Third and First movies is the opening car chase and then minor scenes within the movie to tie in that opening scene with the rest of the movie. At first I though that I just got a faulty DVD or something and that there was a mistake, but then I noticed that in the extra part of the the DVD there was the trailers to all three movies. I watched the first and third trailers, and those were basically the exact same thing. Again, they put in the one different car chase, and changed the name, but other than that, it was the same trailer too. All in all, it was still a good movie, because so is the first one, but I wish there was actually a different story line, or something different about it.

My brother in law was a stunt double for the movie filmed in Buffalo. He was interviewed and was on scene when the water tower came down and killed the star of the show. It was tragic.

Gone in 60seconds 2
Deadline auto theft is a updated version of gone in 60seconds with unseen footage in the first movie. Gone in 60seconds 2 is a short unfinished movie that would have been a complete movie
