404L Locking Cantilever TV Wall Mount 25" arm

I have two of these in my motorhome (second one is a smaller size for the bedroom). Also installed one in a previous rig. They're excellent. The lock keeps them from flying around while you drive. (Don't try and use a mount designed for a house).My only wish is that it would be nice if it could keep the TV from rattling on rough roads.This one is above the driver's seat and I really like that when I'm stopped I can pull the TV out and get the set a little closer to where I'm sitting as well as tilt it toward me.More than anything, by replacing the old box TV's with flatscreens that are mounted I've picked up quite a bit more storage. I have them mounted where the old TV's used to sit and because they're swing out and to the side, it allows the TV to hide the stuff that's stored where the old box TV used to be while making it easy to get behind the TV and access the space.

Dose its job

Unlike the complaints, I have had no issues with the unit locking with the TV mounted. I can only assume user error on their parts. The chain is a bit flimsy though, so don't pull too hard. Mounted a 32" TV without issue, tilt holds fine. Using a smart TV so no cables other than power.

This tv mount works great in our racing hauler. I have it stored a corner, and I love that it locks in place but can be pulled out for better viewing angles. My only gripe is that it does sag a little if the tv is fully extended to one side or the other, and I have a very light 32" led tv. Other than that, it was perfect for my needs and would get it again.

For the price, I would have expected that all the common hardware to attach to the tv would have been included. I've bought mounts for $20 that came with 4 of every common fastener with some in multiple lengths. Plus, the screws to attach to the wall are only 1" in length, which makes them too short for good holding power in most applications. This arm requires at least 1 trip to the hardware store and I think for $76 that's unacceptable. Seems like a good mount otherwise. Time will tell on how well the locking pin works, which was the main reason for going with this mount vs. any other mount.

We have this mount in our travel trailer and it works real well except for the release chain. Sometimes when you pull it the chain will come right off. It goes back on easily enough. It's just annoying. Other than that it's been great and has stayed put on long bumpy road trips.

Nice mount. I am using it in a boat and it there is more play in it when the boat bounces around. The TV is a 32" and weighs 18 pounds, both well within the rating of the mount. It would be fine in a home or less demanding location, but needs to be more rigid for a boat.

Great quality TV Mount. Installed it in my new travel trailer bedroom. Comes out far enough from the wall and tilts so that the TV is easily seen from the bed. I mounted a 32" TV to it and there is no bob or wobble to the mount with the TV mounted. The other nice feature is that the mount locks the TV securely to the wall for when the travel trailer is being towed.
