Dan Post Men's Bellevue Western Boot

These boots cost a tad less than $260. if you buy Dan Post boots, you know this is a "deal." (Shepler's did the fullfillment.) Okay, first, they didn't come in Dan Post packaging. That is no big thing at all, but why? They had all the tags so I don't think they were floor samples (the soles showed no wear), but it was curious. Then, I found a large tag of felt hanging on the inside of one of the boots. It's on the outside of the foot, not in a structural area so not a real concern, but one more thing that makes me wonder about the good price........On the other hand, I bought a pair of Dan Post Denver caiman boots at a REALLY good price, and they came 100 percent as expected.I would give five stars about the fit and attractiveness of these boots, but other stuff makes me think I should send them back. (I got them two days ago and have time to make a decision.) Like I said, that felt doesn't matter, but maybe these super-deal boots aren't real deals. (The deal is always for one color only, and the price always goes back up after I buy them. Are these one-off's? Maybe those caimen boots have a blem I haven't seen, but they look perfect.)

I own a pair of Fry and also a pair of Tony Lama boots. Both are 9.5d and fit quite well. Ordered the Dan Post Belview in the same size and couldn’t get my foot in the boot. I had to send them back which was free and no big deal.Other than that the boot was beautiful and appeared to be of high quality. No size chart so be careful when ordering.

The boot style is in the "Must Have" category. Unfortunately, as with every Dan Post attempt, the boots are SIGNIFICANTLY TOO SMALL. Changed to lighter weight socks. Still, my ankle will not move beyond boot's vamp. My collection features Tony Lama, Lucchese, Stetson, Noncona, Justin, Ariat and El Dorado. Boot fit never a problem.

Great looking boot! I found it odd that they came it a plain box instead of the black Dan Post box. Also they were very dry. I coated them with Bick4 and let them sit over night. I repeated that 3 times before I even tried to wear them. I then put a blow dryer set on high in them for 3 minutes then put them on. they fit like they were made for my foot! Keep them conditioned as exotic leather will dry out faster. I love these boots!!

I had to tell my wife that I've rediscovered an old love: Dan Post boots. These are beautiful boots (truly unique color and pattern from the ostrich leg). People notice them wherever I've worn them. As is true of all boots they take a little breaking in, and the right boot is still a little snug (and my right foot is actually a little smaller than my left foot). I would suggest ordering the same size as your regular shoe size. That worked for me.

These are really nice boots. Plenty compliments. The first pair was small for my size. I returned them with no problems and ordered a size bigger and they fit fine.

I don't really know anything about boots, but my dad took me to the local western store and showed me that he loves Dan Post boots because they are so light weight. I picked up several boots to compare them and found that there isn't one as light as the Dan Post. They didn't have what he wanted there, so I came home and shopped online for the specific color and size he wanted. Because of the color he wanted my selections were limited, so I picked this one. When these arrived, I was surprised to find that these particular ostrich boots are heavier than I expected. I don't know if them being ostrich has anything to do with it, but you should know that they are heavier than I planned.

I love Dan Post boots and normally they are high quality, great fit. I just bought the Black Cherry finish. I worked them ONE TIME! They developed cracks in two hours! The cracks are along the vamp and parallel to the sole. I'm Sending them back. Wish I could exchange for another pair. Very disappointed.
