My personal choice for every day use at work and home
I like these uni-ball Signo retractable pens and decided to try a couple of variations in order to determine clearly which one I prefer. The four that I decided to try were:- uni-ball Signo 207 Retractable Gel Pens, Micro Point (0.5mm) (2-pack, black ink)- uni-ball Signo 207 Retractable Gel Pens, Medium Point (0.7mm) (2-pack, black ink)- uni-ball 207 BLX Retractable Gel Pens, Medium Point (0.7mm) (5-pack with assorted colors, BLX black ink mixed)- uni-ball 207 BLX Retractable Gel Pens, Medium Point (0.7mm) (4-pack with assorted colors, BLX black ink mixed)All are comfortable to write with, smooth and free of skips and any other blotching. For my personal preference the 0.5mm point, what uni-ball calls micro point and others might call fine point, is pretty sharp and perhaps a bit too fine for my heavy handed writing. The medium point, 0.7mm, is still a very fine line in my opinion, and writes very well. I wanted to also try the BLX ink pens to see if I could tell any difference, and I ended up getting the packages of 4 and 5 pens that are black ink mixed with other colors. The BLX with mixed colors are very nice, and all of the colors are quite dark. uni-ball calls them blue/black, brown/black, green/black, purple/black and red/black (the brown/black is not included in the 4-pack). All are much more subtle variations in color than you would normally expect, as the black/color combination results in a much darker shade with just a hint of something else. To my eyes the red and blue variations are most noticeable, and the purple and brown probably wouldn't be noticed as different from black by many people unless it was pointed out to them. I like the variation and as I use them it may turn out that I prefer one over the other, but for now the variety is nice. For my every day use I will probably stick with the medium 0.7mm point, either the regular 207 black ink or one of the BLX mixes.I should add that uni-ball makes the point that the ink used in these pens is particularly good for protection against fading and fraud, and that is also an important consideration. The documents that I sign at work are frequently considered 'record' documents and in fact we have requirements on using ink that is not going to deteriorate over time, so these pens are perfect for satisfying that requirement. At just over a buck per pen, these are not the cheapest disposable pens but they are in my opinion the most comfortable to use.The price here on Amazon is also very competitive, with the added advantage of many variations available. There are so many different choices available that I find it difficult to locate the specific type that I prefer when I'm shopping locally, and once I was able to locate the right model here on Amazon, this is what I'll be sticking with.

Great pens with blue-black ink
I really like the Uni-Ball 207 BLX series of pens, particularly these blue-black ink ones. I usually use these for the office and at home (for making lists and general writing). On its own, the ink will usually look black, but when marking up or adding notes on documents with regular black ink, this blue-black is noticeable. I like this because it still has the flexibility of being professional and going with everything. But with mark-ups and added notes to documents my co-workers can also tell the writing was from me (since I'm the only one that uses these BLX blue-black pens) but the color doesn't stand out too much. The physical design of the pen is also nice, it looks sleek and modern yet not too flashy. Not only is the ink and the pen's physical design nice, but they last a long time as well: with using them every day, one pen's ink willl usually last me 2-3 months, and I have dropped the pen multiple times and it doesn't show any scratches or exterior damage.I will buy these again, but I'll probably experiment with a different color for my next set.

Colors are a bit of a letdown
These are perfectly fine pens. They write nicely, they have good ink flow and the ink does not smear. I was, however, a bit let down by just *how* subtle the colors are. If you want ink that is basically (but not quite, if you look closely) black, these will work for you. If you're just hoping for really dark shades of colors, I would pass. I personally will use them, but not buy them again. The quality seems consistent with the brand, as I expect, so I would say they are worth the money, except for the color being not what I'd hoped for.

Some of the best pens I have ever had
These are some of the BEST pens I have ever had. I was a big fan of G2, but I found the 0.7mm ones to be bleeding a little too much. M friend recommended the Signo207 to me, and I had to say, he was a life-saver! Even though they are 0.7 pens, they do not write as thick or bleed as the pilot G2 pens. I love these so much! And they are super comfortable to hold on to!

LOVE these pens!
I LOVE these pens! I’m a vet tech and a good pen is gold. I watch these pens like a hawk and will admonish anyone (like the doctor) who tries to walk away with them. These pens are blue enough that I can see my notes on photocopied, busy surgery flow sheets, and it’s dark enough that I don’t cringe when writing in official medical records. It’s a ballpoint that has always flowed nicely for me, and the ink seems like a cross between a ballpoint ink and a gel. The one flaw is that it does smear when highlighted over immediately after writing, so now I either wait a bit or highlight then write. It also smears when writing on a glossy finish, but that doesn’t bother me as I rarely write on glossy surfaces.

Nice product at a fair price
The medium, 0.7 mm, tip provides effortless, skip-free writing. Being left handed, I need a fast drying ink so as not to smear, and get it with this instrument. I gave up fountain pens decades ago. The Uni-Ball provides the eye appeal of a fountain pen without the hassles.
