Catches the eyes of others
I’m a fairly tall guy at 6’-2” but I don’t consider myself a giant and I needed to leave all the bracelet links in place.I love the watch, but you should take note that you do have to press a button to see the time, date, etc.I was well aware of this functionality and I think this quirkiness is part of its beauty. It is super bright and easily readable even in daylight. The polished stainless is bright and shiny. The friction style clasp is secure. If you want a retro-modern digital watch, this Bulova hits the mark! You will be asked about your “bracelet” and it’s fun to show them.

Stands the test of time.
I bought my first Bulova in Germany when I severed in the Army in 1976 and I love it now just as much as I did them. Bulova reissued this watch with a total redesign of the watch while keeping with the design of the first release. This is a drivers watch and the standard transmissions where the norm then, so it was normal to be removing your right hand from the wheel to shift or to tune the radio. So, it was easy to reach up to the wheel to push a button on the watch. Bulova should of added a sensor to detect movement just like any smart watch, but I am sure they did not as to get 2 year battery life out of a LED watch.I feel that the new watches are made so much better than the 1976 and 1977 models, as the electronics in them were not so good, but it was cutting edge at the time. And with the way the plating was done to the use of a single battery says they rethought the whole design.I love my Computrons and hope to hand then down to the next generation to enjoy.

You will have to remove links to fit. Purchase a cheap <($10.00) kit, so u can immediately wear it.
It exceeded my expectations. I thought the style and look was seamless, but I was afraid that it was going to feel and look cheap in person vs. the online photos, and I was wrong (something I hate admitting, but will do when necessary...LOL).The weight of the watch is good, feels solid, but others may disagree. I prefer a heavier weight watch. It reminds me I'm wearing one and not to pull out my phone to see the time because then I'll get distracted by all the phone apps. You do have to remove links in order to fit your wrist, which means the band is quite large and can fit a variety of wrist sizes. I would strongly encourage a cheap watch repair/link removal kit if you don't already have one. They run about <$10.00. Otherwise, you'll end up with a watch you can't immediately wear. Side note; you'll definitely get some attention from people with It being shiny and cool looking.Back to my review; if you're unaware how to remove watch links, please watch a video. There are small tiny arrows on the underbelly of the wrist band. They direct you of where to push the pins out in order to remove the links. You will need to reuse the same pins, be careful you don't bend them during the removal process. If you can't see the arrow direction, take your phone flashlight. My only disappointment hence the four stars vs. five, was the fact that the battery was already engaged. I have no idea how long the battery is going to last. It could be two years from now or it could be next week.Readability is very clear and bright. You won't have an issue in sunlight. Functionality is exactly what I was looking for, simple and straight forward. It tells the time, provides the date, seconds, and is also equipped with a second time zone, which provides you an opportunity to set a second time for when you're traveling or a colleague is traveling, but you forget how many hours ahead they are from you and you want/need to call them.I thought the value was good considering the price has gone up since my purchase. I am curious why the gold version is more expensive (I guess demand is the culprit). Maybe wait a little longer for it to go on sale? Regardless, I wasn't disappointed, which says a lot since I'm rarely satisfied with merchandise and their quality nowadays.

A waste of money. The band broke 2 months after wearing it only 5 times.

Wow in all the best ways!!!
This is a watch for watch enthusiasts!! It’s a beautiful vintage design and aesthetic that provides a stylish look that anyone would appreciate. The band, at first feels a bit light and dare I say it, cheap, however this feeling fades with every wear and the overall appreciation of its appearance only increases. It’s also an incredibly accurate timepiece rating -5 seconds in the past month. Also, setting it is not as difficult as other reviews would suggest. I had been eyeing this watch for a few months and I’m glad I finally got it. It’s an accurate timepiece that looks incredible what more could you ask for?!

Vintage watch lousy band
Very cool retro watch with beautiful blue display. Nice weight to the watch. The problem is the band. Omg it is the cheapest flimsy band they could do. On a + $200 watch they could have done better. You can’t adjust the bracelet whithin the standard bracelet locking latch. This is because the clip has to attach to the end of itself. So you have to remove a linc. No problem, problem! I think they used locktight on the pins. So… I’m keeping the watch and installing a real watch band.
