I purchased a Laura Dare gown and peignor for our oldest granddaughter in 2017 in a 4T. It washes like a dream and not only was worn by her, but was a hand me down to her younger sister and it’s still going strong. The quality was outstanding.However, because our youngest granddaughter loved the set that both she and her sister had outgrown, we paid $45 in August 2019 to buy a size 5 Laura Dare gown and peignor set. The quality is abysmal. Not only has the elastic on both sleeves come detached, stitching came out in the hem ruffle and inexplicably, the gown fabric has ripped (and not in a seam!).I attempted to call the company twice over the past week to try to resolve, but no one has called me back, so I feel compelled to advise others that this purchase was not worth it.
