The camera mount screws did not fit they are too big for the camera plate holes, oem screws are too small for this product as well so I had to figure out another way but overall, good quality parts just wish it had instructions and the right screws

This thing is not worth it!! No directions, fitment for the rear view camera is terrible. I ended up with a cracked camera that I have to pay for now!(20 year mechanic so I know what I’m doing) could have bought a better one for the money I will spend now. Update..I now found out that I failed inspection because the third brake light I took off to put this junk on is required for inspection and there is no part of the kit to keep the third brake light from the stock setup!

Ok... what a nightmare to figure out.. DV8 is going have to put instructions in these eventually, there are different models. Mine has camera and light, no videos to show how it’s done. I figured it out, after 5 hours in my garage. Everything went on as planned except the small bolts they give you to mount the camera do not fit. I had to use a specific adhesive to hold the camera in place because there was no turning back. It also didn’t come with extra wire to run the led light for license plate, so you will need at least 2 PCs 8-10feet long. You have to run the wires through the tailgate and splice them with you new wires to run it from the tailgate through the car jack area, under the body carriage, then run them above the heat shield,above the exhaust and then tap into the light from your old license plate area. It’s a pain in the ass. The camera didn’t work for me at first, I checked all my connections but still didn’t work, I had to jiggle the main wire going to camera and push it tight against the camera. It looks great when you are finished, but there’s no going back after you get that camera out of the OEM housing, so you better really want it. Again looks great, you can tell a big difference in your driving experience, No noice at all, I have a lift with 35’s, so even the back end now is raised up another inch because I took off the tire, rim, housing, and smittybilt tire adjuster. All in all have around 300 lbs saved off my tailgate. I can actually see out my back window. Would I do that again??? NO. I would take it to a professional.. it was very frustrating and luckily I had extra wire and special adhesive to attach my camera. Of course it’s all made in China, you can tell. And you can use your existing black hardware instead of that cheap looking chrome bolts it comes with, but you better be prepared. Now if you don’t need to install a license plate light easy, if you don’t need to install back up camera and light very easy, but you need to put your license plate on before actually putting the delete bracket on there’s no room to fit your hands to put the bolts and nuts in, I learned the hard way. I was finished and all I needed to do was put my license plate on, and I had to take the entire tire delete bracket off just to install my plate. Total Nightmare. Get it together DV8 , at least have those Chinese workers make up some instructions.

Had no instructions and took awhile to install. But totally worth it. Looks amazing.

All in all it looks great - and the first day of it being on I received unasked for compliments on it. But it took 2.5 hours to install as I had to sand/file some of the backup camera brackets to make it fit in the retainer. Not to mention the backup camera retainer is exactly 0% milled out. You will HAVE to drill your own holes. Once you have shaved a bracket off of the camera so it fits in the retainer and the retainer is milled you will then find that the cruddy m3 bolts they sent to hold it in arent long enough. Queue the trip to ace hardware only to return and find that the kit evidently wants you to smash steel washers into your paint. Easiest way around that is to use the tiny plastic washer on the OEM bolts if you’re in a 2020+ jeep JL. Have fun getting mad at those. Not to mention the 800 different tools and screwdriver heads you will need to use - none of which are mentioned in the nonexistent instructions if you catch my drift. This is basically a $100 piece of metal that only does what it should if you make it. Again, I’m happy with the finished product - but holy hell. Install was a lot of tools being thrown and swear words coming out.
