You may need collet extension to use this
This is the first bit I've used where I've ever required a collet extension. Had my Bosch router bottomed completely out on the plunge router, and this would not clear the base. It did fit into my Bosch Palm router, and just barely fit with the base pushed all the way down. Could use in a pinch this way, but would probably burn up the bit. This is a bit that I would rather have mounted in a stationary router, and then move the workpiece over it, preferably on a router table IOW. Some control of the rpm is another thing where a router table and higher end router would be preferable. The bearing did spin freely, but I may have mixed up the washers as I got some burning. May be a cheap bearing too, jury is still out on that one.I ended up purchasing a $17 collet extension, and have put off my project until that arrives. Overall, the bit is the right size for the T-molding I was using.Again, it does need some adjustment for rpm as this is a large bit, and very easy to burn things by going too fast.No idea of the longevity, but if it'll do 100 feet I would be happy.

Great product
Needed this on short notice after I broke the cutter I was using. Worked great, high quality.

Do not buy this for T-molding
I bought this because it was suggested to buy with the t molding. It is the WRONG bit. The bearing is too small to make the right depth cut.

Just what I needed and good price
Used this tool to cut a kerf around a large plywood cover for a pontoon boat storage area so I could install plastic T-moulding.
