Waterproof G1 5mm 5-Finger Gloves

Great gloves, far better than I actually expected despite a fellow diver's very high recommendation. Far better gloves than another brand I'd been using for colder dives - had done at least a dozen or more dives on other gloves. Features to love:1) Great fit. I normally wear size L in men's gloves, these fit just fine.2) Keeps hands warm! I've used these only on a few dives, down to low 60's.3) Comfortable.4) Very decent dexterity, no problems pushing buttons on 3 different computers, nor issues with manipulating LPI, etc.5) One of the best things about these: zipper combined with lining makes these a breeze to don & doff, unlike previous gloves which though they fit great were a royal pain to don & doff, both dry or wet. These are far easier both wet or dry.Overall impressed with the thought that went into the design. Little touches like the little nylon(?) strip on the end of the zipper handle to make it easier to use the zipper especially when you have both gloves on. A clearly marked area inside the glove you can write name/initials to tell them apart from your dive buddies' gear. And surprising how much difference in comfort the "pre curved" shape to the fingers/palm area makes.

Haven't actually dove with them yet, but the are very comfortable, easy donning and doffing, and the size I got fits perfectly. They are 5mm (so thick and warm) but still offer pretty good dexterity compared to other 5mm gloves. I notice some negative reviews about them not being waterproof. That's pretty funny for scuba divers, as we know they are "wetsuit" gloves under the brand name "Waterproof", but you must understand the confusion when they are for sale on Amazon and advertised as waterproof gloves. That is pretty misleading, so I'll leave the product review at 5 stars, because they are 5 star gloves, but I think Waterproof could market them a little more clearly.

These gloves are actually amazing. I dive in some pretty cold waters in a wetsuit and finding those perfect gloves has been a struggle. They are super warm and really well made. Super easy to don and doff.The zipper does like to come unzipped during a dive if they are place outside your wetsuit sleeve. I’ve found that rolling back my sleeve and placing them on over my semi-dry suit wrist seal and then rolling the suit sleeve over them has solved the issue with the zipper.Great warm and comfortable gloves!!!

I have used this gloves now for over a hundred dives. Including in freezing waters of Canada! I'm very pleased of them!They are much warmer than other 5mm gloves i have.They are easy to wear even when wet.They feel very soft but much more durable than i expected (mine still looks like new after so many dives).I recommend them to my friends!!!point to notice:1. while their size is the same as other gloves (L=L, M=M, S=S) they are not as tight on the palm and fingers as other gloves. (takes time to get used to that feeling).2. The wrist area is important for preventing water from moving in and out of the glove (as the palm is not tight enough). important to close the zipper to the end every time. Without closing the zipper the glove is good as a hand cover only. it will not protect from real cold water.3. the zipper is the weak point of the glove! it is a small plastic zipper that broke to my buddy in a normal use. it is not the easiest task to do with cuff wrings on a drysuit.

Definitely a solid choice for cold water divers or anyone that needs just a little more warmth with a very comfortable fit. Works well with wetsuit but a little too long to work with my dry suit.

Awesome gloves. They fit pretty true compared to work gloves or driving glove sizes. They are incredibly warm and easy to grab things with pre-formed shape. Zipper does slip down a little, but if you quick grab around the zipper once closed and stretch the cuff toward the zipper seam, there will be no issue (unless you have huge wrists I suppose). I do pull mine over the top of my 7 mill suit so my wrists are pretty thick too. Purchased a set for my son too... they are that good. Cost a little more than normal gloves, but they are at least twice as nice.

I've yet to dive with them but the reinforcement to help pull them on along with the zipper to aid in getting them on/off really fit the bill for what I bough them for. I'm sure they'll be plenty warm. And no I don't expect them to be water proof. People should understand that these are wetsuit type gloves. They are to keep your hands warm. Not dry.

Amazing to get such great warmth with so much flexibility in the fingers. They fit well on the wrist and the zippers are of superb quality. These are definitely made for cold water, and they really come through. They are well worth the price.
