and I figured out what to do with my neighbor's dogs waste. IT IS VERY simple
I hope Amazon will allow me to post this review.I purchased Dog Mace in Miami Fl. Product did not work. I have the same problem that many of us have it, with dogs from our neighborhood, I do have 8 HD cameras to monitor my lawn front, sides and back, I got (4) four canisters of Natures's Mace Dog Repellent. Product did not work. I contacted a friend of my who is a veterinarians, and I figured out what to do with my neighbor's dogs waste. IT IS VERY simple. Get from Mc Cormick Ground (Cayenne) Red Pepper 10.5oz dilute half of the container in a 2 (32) onz of Isopropyl Alcohol in a 1 Gallon Jug (Milk container) and macerate for 2 to 3 week (shake every other weeks). The add 8onz of Dawn Dishwhashing liquid and 10 onz of any cooking oil (for stick to the ground or leaves) shake it well and pierce with 4 or 6 hole on the caps , put duct tape on the lead and spread the final product on the area you want to protect. IT IS HUMAN THE TREATMENT AND YOU CAN SEE THAT DOG WILL NEVE EVER SNIFT TO POOH on your mail box or on your yard. I can see his reaction when may neighbor and his dog approach at 6 am my front yard or my mail box on my CCTV security system. Dog Jump and scratch his now so badly that he will never forget to to Pooh on my front yard/mail box........now he does on my next door neighbor. TRY IT. The Aquiles heel/or weak part on a dog are their NOSES. PROBLEM SOLVE IN MIAMI FLORIDA.

Doesnt work
Used this product on a small section of grass in front of my house. I followed all the instructions and still dogs seem to be unbothered by it. Tested it with my brothers dog who happily walked over the exact spot where i put this product and took a poo. I had high hopes for this product being that dog owners around my area are lazy and wont pick up their dog poo when their dog does its businnes on my front lawn.

Worthless
Does not work at all.... Went around my yard with this stuff with a good heavy dose towards the front of my property. The next day there was a big pile of crap right in the spot where I put the heaviest amount of this repellent.

Did not work at all.
We spread the granules around each plant in all my landscaping as well as sprayed using the concentrate form as well. My dog pulled out each plant that had been sprayed and destroyed them. it was worse than if I had not used this product at all. Do no recommend.

Take a pass on this product
I had hoped for this to really fix the problem I have with my Malamute digging in my beds. The product smells kind of good, slightly minty after application. Apparently my dog thought so too because I used the entire container in a small area and she not only dug it all up immediately, but then took a nap in the hole.

Maybe it's for OLD dogs
This is possibly the worst training aid I have ever purchased. IT EVEN HAS A PICTURE OF MY DOG ON THE LABEL and it didn't work. She went right for the pile of dirt I mixed with the product. I would have been okay if she stopped, but she just sniffed at it and dug right through the pile of Dog Mace I left on top of the mixed dirt and product. This stuff is no better than recycled paper mulch perfumed with menthol. My dog had no problem with it.

the Dog Mace and they are now very happy to take their naps on the deck
This is the only thing I have found -- after 7 years of searching -- that actually repels the dogs. We have two dogs that were digging holes all over the back yard. I simply raked over the holes, sprinkled, the Dog Mace and they are now very happy to take their naps on the deck, like any intelligent dog would do! :) Never said they were smart, but they are loveable!!!!
