Read some of the negative reviews and was a bit worried. Used it yesterday for the first time to cut up old 15m ply so it would fit into the car. Unbelievably good. Like a knife through butter. No kickback, plain easy sailing. Longevity unsure but at the minute it's great value. Thoroughly recommend.

I was initially hesitant to use my angle grinder to process firewood as the rpm is soo much higher than a circular saw.The three teeth setup means the blade roughly matches that of a circular saw in terms of rpm which makes it really manageable and pretty safe.Having witnessed the ferocious nature of this beast I have joined the dark side!The teeth have stayed sharp, even after months of heavy use and it cuts like a demon!I would highly recommend this product!

Did the job I bought it for.

Bought this to remove roots on lawn. Mower blades kept blunting on old cherry tree roots . Wow cuts quickly,easy to use in grinder and quick too. Thought it might blunt quickly so bought two. I've cut all I need and still on first one. Maybe try some wood carving now .

the kickback is terrifying !!!

If you're like me you will be looking at this due to the price as you will either have a one off job or are new and want to try power carving. In my case I had a stump I left intentionally high to "create" something in the garden. I had roughed the shape with a chainsaw but needed something more delicate to sculpt the finished product, I knew of the more expensive brands in the £60 mark but as this is a potential one off exercise looked for a cheaper alternative. I'm not one for writing reviews but I'm that impressed by this disc i needed to share my experience with others that are looking and could read the other not so enthusiastic ones left by others. Its got a technique that you will need to learn. Mainly tool held 90 deg to the work piece will hog material 1/4-1/2" deep at a fast speed with long ribbons of material flying off as in the photo, tool held 45deg or less and dragged backwards gives more finesse and held more inline with the work will reduce the cut more and give the fine sawdust as in the photo. Kick back is non existent if used with respect, I used some chainsaw gloves to add extra safety but i wouldn't see it anymore dangerous than a diamond disc cutting bricks but could see with no respect you could get in trouble. I used my best grinder so an air compressor to blow the dust out after is a must! Excellent tool for the money and would think if you don't hit anything hard it should last for quite a while, get some 80 grit flap disc's while you're at it to finish it off!

This disc does work well in a grinder for cutting, rough cutting or bulk cutting on soft and hard woods. I wouldn't use it in a grinder for fine or accurate work though. Also be careful as it will bite and pull if you dont control the depth or direction well. I would say its a bit dangerous for novice users. A real good tool for wood workers though.

Ok first i need to stress this. Be very very careful with this. Its value for money and fast delivery. So as a retired heavy mechanic and is well use to working with machines of all kinds i can tell you that in using such a blade in an angle grinder is an accident waiting to happen with someone. Maybe thats just me but this blade requires every single bit of attention when using. It has the power to create a massive kickback if not careful and you will not get a chance to react. Trust me i have had a kickback on it and thank god i had it close to the timber to help stop it in time. While the blade can remove a massive amount of waste caution ⚠️ is required to invest in a good pair of gloves as the waste can hit the hand so be careful. Also invest in a good pair of work wear to save the legs from the waste aswell otherwise you may end up with blotchy sunburn effects 😆. Do not have anyone near you when using this blade. Do not allow a teenager to use it as they wont know what to do or how to handle it. From using it i have found that it is best to use in small steps rather than getting in heavy. I cannot stress this enough. CAUTION IS REQUIRED SO BE WARNED. Otherwise i can't complain. I do believe with care this blade could last a very long time. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

Mit dieser Scheibe ist man mit der Flex wirklich gut im Holz unterwegs, und kann damit nicht nur schneiden, (was natürlich auch geht) sondern auch Schnitzen, wie man es sonst mit der Kettensäge könnte.Ich bin tatsächlich positiv von diesem Produkt überrascht!
