very cute looking, works 100%, very pleased with item, would buy again.

I have a slow leek from my water heater that I am waiting on my landlord to fix. I do not want to turn off my water as it is going to be over a week till he can send an engineer but I do not want to damage anything. This device is great. It warms me if the tank has started to drip and let’s me know if the bucket under it is being over filled. While I am turning the water off while out this means I can have my water on to have a shower etc and don’t have to constantly check on the tank at night when it is heating up; the alarm is loud enough to wake me.

The media could not be loaded.  Wasn't sure this would be as good as advertised. However upon first test it seems great and definitely will help identify any early leak or damp signs.Alarm is not quite as loud as a smoke alarm more like a loud ring tone.

I wanted these to put in our new bathroom and kitchen...just in case!The plan was to put 1 under the shower tray, 1 under the enclosed cistern/toilet and 1 under the kitchen sink.I was disappointed when only 2 out of 3 worked. I need 1 more but I am not willing to spend more money on these when I only need 1.Not going to return for the sake of 1 not working. Shame, they seem OK.UPDATE**When I opened it up to have a look the battery had dislodged. Popped it back in and it worked...moral of the story is double check before making comment.

Thank goodness I have only had to test the alarms which I did following instructionsBattery operated ( battery included)Good pitch sound - loud enough to wake me if there is water ingress.

I ordered this item and using it more than year. Sound is quite good and battery still live.

It saved us and our neighbours from the leak. The only problem is that is useless if you are not at home, but otherwise it’s working as described. Worth the money

Did not work at all which was a pity as they looked great and felt quality.

J'ai fait des essais avec un peu d'eau sur une éponge. Cela fonctionne. Dommage le niveau sonore reste moyen.

Der Wasser Detektor wurde zügig durch Amazon geliefert. Nach dem auspacken kurz mit nassem Finger über die Sensoren gewischt. Sofort ertönte ein lautes Signal. Nach dem trockenwischen in der Ecke "verstaut" ... Nun hoffe ich diesen Ton nicht wieder zu hören.
