They are buttery
So this is what olives really taste like. The flavor is intense. Not in a bad way either. I eat 3 everyday. I enjoy them by themselves to savor the taste. These are easily the best olives I've ever had.

Nearly melt in your mouth!
Castelvertrano is at the top of the heap as far as green olives go. Flavorful, smooth, and buttery, they out-shine all others. The bryne these are produced with is also tops -- not too salty, and doesn't overshadow the main event. A word of caution: you can easily get hooked on these beauties.

Love the flavors it adds to other dishes.
Originally bought these through Costco. Costco quit carrying them for a while so I found these on line through Amazon. Love the flavor of this brand over other brands I tried.Came well packaged and no damage found. Cheaper from Costco when they do have this brand.

More vinegary tasting
This brand is the most vinegary castelvetrano olive I have tasted yet. Not very buttery.

NOT 36oz. (only 19 oz.) and don't seem fresh at all
We love this variety of olive, but these were so disappointing. First of all - it states 36 oz and this jar was 19oz. I feel that's very misleading to state on a jar that is not actually 36oz of product. I never would have spend $25 on this size jar. I do see that it says DRY weight 16 oz - but that's wrong too. The jar only says 19 oz. So I was either sent the wrong size jar, or they are just misleading people. They also seemed like they may have been sitting around for a while. They are not the typical vibrant green color that we are used to seeing in Castelventrano's - but instead were a more muddy, darker green. And, half of them were not even whole olives, but piece of olive. Clearly I'm not sending these back because we opened them figuring we would give the benefit of the doubt. But, never again. I feel like I've been olive-duped.
