Infiltration: How Heinrich Himmler Schemed to Build an SS Industrial Empire
B**.
Excellent discussion of detailed SS economic plans, but kind of boring. Hardly a revelation.
It's an excellent book on Himmler's plans, and the SS organization actions, to establish an economic empire based on its coercive powers and slave labor activities. But I don't understand why this is regarded as some great revelation by reviewers. The SS activities in the economic arena of the Third Reich have been told for decades now. Speer's book perhaps adds detail to the knowledge, but it hardly offers some radical new concept.
