Light weight nailer
I bought this to install the trim pieces for our LP Smartside siding, and it worked problem free.

Definitely great deal…
The price, the warranty, the lightweight of the framing nailer, the smallest to get into tight areas. What can I say? This is definitely a well worth purchase on a contractor and I build every day and I have had and I do own multiple nail guns. This one is by far one of my favorites.

Fits Between Studs; Packs a Punch
This is power. And the fact that I can squeeze this between studs is a game changer. Super lightweight. Perfect for remodeling. Nail reload is not as annoying as people say. I prefer to buy Paslode nails for highest quality and fewer jams. That said, with a 44-count strip of nails I get about 39 in place before the dry lock engages and I have to reload. Recommend you pick up a 3/8" Industrial Swivel Plug x 3/8" Male NPT as the nailer does not include a plug. Also use a 3/8" hose with 3/8" fittings and 3/8" quick release at the compressor so as not to reduce airflow to the nailer. Manual recommends 90-120PSI; I recommend 115PSI for framing purposes. Don't forget to lubricate your tool before each use.

Great quality
I like the compactness to nail in smaller spaces, but the trade-off is that I can only load one strip of nails at a time rather than 2 like my old nailer. So it slows me down a little, but overall happy.

Not bad
The piece that holds the trigger came broken , I had to fix it , worked for 1 1/2 years then the gasket broke , I had to buy another one at Lowe’s

Great tool.
Bought this nailer, because mine went bad. Same brand. So much easier to use since it’s smaller. I need to add nails more often, but that’s no problem since the nailer is so easy to use

Working Length of Nail Strips Not Compatible - Constant Problem with Paslode Nails
Gun stops shooting with 4-5 nails left. Upon reloading the new Paslode nail strips sometimes exceed the overall capacity of the feed carrier so you have to unload the remaining short nail strip and insert the new strip. Additionally, the nail collating plastic on the short remaining nail strip jams the nails when you try to remove them and you have to get something to either pry the nails out or release the nail push dog so you can force the remaining nails out with your fingers. Used the gun for framing a shed and hanging T1-11 siding. The nail collating plastic invariably leaves residual that both obscures the depth of nail drive and must be physically removed in prep for painting. In summary, this is a compact framing nailer with limited nail capacity that has a problem handling the OEM's nail strip length and is a constant headache with regard do plastic nail collating residue that is partially trapped under the driven nail head. Finally as other people have suggested a 1/4" air hose will not deliver enough air to consistently drive the nails so you must follow with a hammer.

compact, quiet, minimal recoil
Love the size/weight balance. First test I shot through a bone dry pressure treat 2x6, into a totally dried Pressure treat fir 4x4 post. Perfect flush set, minimal recoil, and quiet in a way that outside I wouldn't need hearing protection, but I need to research the nails a little more? Are the building code color coded nails available or not ? I wanted this gun because it shoots a smaller nail, like for sheathing and spot framing. I see the clips are tight packed and not spaced apart like the other guns, which is good in a lot of ways as you get more nails per inch in the clips. No case or storage bag came with the gun, but it has a dust cap on the air feed at least . I like it ! Plus the smaller firing chamber uses less air, less electric to run the compressor, perhaps carbon footprint friendly just a bit ?

Compact and lighter
Paslode Compact nail gun arrived on time and in good condition. Gun had a 1/4 inch air hose connection. I just put a few nails through it and it has lots of power. Lots of complaints of no power from other reviews. I set the PSI to 100 and it worked like a charm. If you want to drive nails into steel, this is not the gun for you. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.
