Nice!
First you need to know I did not install this in a ground camp fire as I have a freestanding pit. For my install I had to weld a pipe inside my pit then cut the fins off the bottom of the ground stake. So I can not tell you about how well it drives in or the stability from wobble, my review is strictly about the the great and finish. I was concerned about the paint on the cook surface so I built a bigger fire then a cook fire and pre burnt the grill for an hour and I was impressed as it did not even show a heat mark. Now after four short cooks of burgers dogs and one steak night it still looks like the day I took it out of the box. All I have done to clean it is a wet rag when it was hot and a dry rag when it cooled then a light spray of oil. the last pic is after all the cooks and cleans.

Game changer in camp cooking
I recently had the pleasure of using the Texsport Heavy Duty Barbecue Swivel Grill during a family reunion, and I must say, it has completely transformed our outdoor cooking experience. This grill is not just a tool; it's an invitation to camping culinary creativity. What truly set this grill apart was its ability to breathe new life into leftovers. Ground beef from the previous night's barbecue? It seamlessly turned into mouth-watering cheese and beef quesadillas the next day. Pulled pork? It found a new identity as scrumptious nachos cooked over the fire. The grill's versatility and performance made these transformations not just possible but downright enjoyable.Everyone in the family loved it, and I already know what I'm getting them for Christmas. . .

Great for camping
The media could not be loaded. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this grill. Not only is it made from high quality materials, it held up 3 days next to a fire. The only 2 pieces that I wished was of a heavier construction is the main support post and the top of the support post. The top of the support post has a washer that is tack welded to the pole, and I assume after using a few times, it will break off. The main pole is pretty thin, and the paint burned off quickly by the fire, I expect oxidation to set in fast and rust before I can use it again. I will repaint it with high temp paint to try to prevent that from happening. The grill portion is made well and we used it several timed through the weekend with heavy black iron skillets and pots, so it did its job. At this price point I did expect less, so I am happy with my purchase.

Works great when there is no grill
The media could not be loaded. To tighten this or adjust height after placing it can be difficult. Stake, not shown in ad, is a spade style. Holds in place great

Perfect Grill for cooking over the open fire!
This grill is very sturdy, simple to assemble and very easy to place in a fire pit. The grill swivels on the support stake, as well as moving up and down, so that you can easily adjust how close the food is to the open flame. The grill itself has quite a good surface area. I made brats and bacon for 12 people with no problem. Easy clean up, as the grease goes straight into the fire. I highly recommend this product!

Exactly as described. Great value for the price.
The grill is exactly what we were looking for at our campsite. It makes the huge breakfasts of bacon, eggs, sausage and toast easier to make without melting from the heat of the fire. Assembly was relatively easy. Directions didn’t help much, but if you take the time to look at how they should fit together, it’s pretty clear. Our fire pit is made of cinder block, so we were a little worried about it being tall enough. It turned out perfectly, though I think an optional taller stake might be helpful for some. We did place a brick against it inside of the pit just to keep it secure because we were a little concerned that the stake wasn’t buried deep enough. It is good and sturdy. Held a cast iron griddle and a pan of eggs without tipping. I had a little trouble swinging the grate when it was full, but I think we over tightened it.

This is the one you want!
I’ve had one of these for 6 plus years, and just bought another! I abused the first one, warped and rusty but can be restored. We thought we’d try something different… and ended up buying the same one after trying others. Very Sturdy and definitely NOT light weight! Most times we just use the grate without the stake. Buy it… you won’t be sorry and very affordable compared to others!

It's good, not great.
The mesh part might be heavy duty but the stake into the ground is hollow steel and bent first use, granted the ground was very dence there, but.. it should be a solid metal steak into the ground. Aside from that, iit's solid buy. Easy to assemble and use, it heald 3 cast iorn pans full of food without leaning much from the weight.
