Biggest Book of Search & Find (Children's Activity Book) Paperback – February 4, 2011

My 4 year old daughter loves to "find" things in books and we stumbled across this book in my search for more options. The illustrations are wonderfully creative and colorful. The book is really thick (over 1.5 inches) and is pretty heavy for a 4 year old. It contains "mini" books where you can find one specific character (dog, cat, alien, girl, boy, dinosaur, detective, witch, bunny, panda, etc). Then along the left hand side of a page, is a listing for at least 30 other things to search for. Since my daughters (2 & 4) aren't at the reading stage, we just have them search for the character whose picture is listed at the top left corner. Then I will randomly scan the page and ask them to help me find "x". We have owned this book for a few months now and it is a bedtime favorite, mandatory for long car rides, and even took a trip to Mexico for the plane ride :) The only negative piece is that the book is very thick and heavy- so holding it open to read is a strain on your hands to keep it propped all the way to view the images towards the spine.

I originally bought this book for my youngest kiddo, who is 6 and especially adept at search & find books, but my oldest (10) has also had a lot of fun with this book. We travel quite often, so finding things to keep my easily-bored, active kids quietly occupied (as I don't like them zoning out too long on mind-numbing gadgets and electronics kids are so fond of these days) is highly valued. :) It is also something simple and fun that I can sit down and interact with them, too.This is a rare item that both my kids share nicely and enjoy together, and you get a lot of bang for your buck, as there are tons more pages in it than your run-of-the-mill search and find books. I definitely would recommend it for all families.

Just buy this. If you're thinking your kid, a kid you know, any kid might like this.... They will. My son saw someone with a book like this and wanted his own. I find this all over the house because he's constantly seeking and finding. I initially thought the price was steep for a seek and find book, but it's worth every penny.

I really love this book. My daughter is four, and it is perfect for her. We tried many other seek and find books, but the ones which showed the actual picture to find, she ended up finding them super quickly and memorizing the books within the second round of the seeking. This one shows a picture of one character on the top corner of each page, and while my daughter usually finds then quickly, some have challenged her.I really love that it has a large list of different things to find. The list has seriously helped her listening skills, and she also learns about new things that she never knew about, which expands her vocabulary. It is also tricky enough for her to where my daughter has also learned directions through the clues that I give her (left, right, over, under, around, etc).I would rate this book five stars, but the binding is wanting to come off. Perhaps it is because we use it every night. I suppose I just wish the outside of the book were stronger. Ours is literally held together by the strings holding the pages together.Really fantastic content though.

This book is exactly what I was looking for and even better than I hoped! There are so many pages! My 3 year old son loves seek and find and is so happy to have some new ones! I love how colorful the pages are and how there are tons of things to talk about on each page. If you like the old search for Lisa books don’t hesitate just buy this!

These books are AWESOME! Wish there were a larger selection. My grandchildren ages 5-10 love them. (I like them, too) We spend lots of time together trying to be the first to find the pictures. Great for car or plane travel or anywhere they need to sit quietly. I highly recommend!

Love these books. They can be frustrating, but they keep me relatively sane during this Covid season.

This book is huge with thousands of things to look for...entertainment for hours. I have purchased it twice
