Echo Valley Solar Firefly LED Glass Lantern - Flickering Lightning Bug Mason Jar Light

I was so excited when I first received the lanterns. They were so cute when they lit up at night. However, in a very short time, the jars got water inside of them and the lights stopped working. I emptied the water and hoped for the best. Unfortunately out of six, I have three that sometime light up. I contacted the company and they called offering a refund because they cannot guarantee that it won't happen again. However, I have to pay for the return and won't get reimbursed unless they see if the product is defective.

We received one of these as a gift and thought it was so cute we searched online to find one as a house warming gift. She loved her as well. Both of us keep it inside by a window and it works as a nightlight after dark. Such a cute idea and what a great gift.

Bought these at my local store, hung them in a tree. They looked wonderful until it rained and amazingly they filled with water became clouded due to moisture and the on/off switch rusted in the ON position within 2 weeks. Very poor design not making the little solar panel watertight around the edges. Even though the tag says they are for outside use it only says do not SUBMERGE in water. These things cannot handle rain. Last I checked rain is not equivalent to submerging in water! Would only be good for indoor use in my opinion and that is not what we wanted them for...

I think for the price it could have had a few more fireflies inside - both of mine had only 3. it would have been way nicer to have 4 or 5.

Only worked for a few days. There is no gasket around the solar panel to keep water out, not waterproof AT ALL. I cannot recommend this product.

What a great addition to the solar world of my backyard. Friends love it. I recommend it to all solar enthusiasts.

Purchased two Firefly lanterns, both stopped working, moisture got in both units. Amazon replaced both, only one doesn't work, same problem.
