Great purchase , makes me miss summer!!!
Bought this system this past summer. I wanted something that would make backyard pool parties awesome , I tried a few different things before biting the bullet , 400W soundbar etc. ..nothing did the trick , returned quite a few items , and finally bit the bullet and purchased these. Received a HUGE BOX! well they did the trick...Bass shakes my patio roof , and I have yet to max out the sound ( I'm not an audiophile, I like loud , bass , and clear , but I'm not to picky about it). The cops have been to my house because of this system , I didn't realize it was 11pm and I had it playing at about a 20 with GIGA SOUND on....the Giga sound just amplifies the bass , it sounds more crisp without it on , but what's summer without ridiculous bass?? The volume goes up to 30 , and at about 20-23 with the GIGA on , you can hear the quality start to dip a bit. I don't think I've maxed it out , maybe I have , I will have to confirm with Fireball. I will usually play blutoothed youtube videos to it , so that may have an effect on quality of sound , never used the CD or USB , so it may sound better with one of those. Overall , I'm super happy with the purchase and I am currently looking for a similar item for inside the house...Maybe less Watts , maybe more lol... Good luck and enjoy!

HUGE SYSTEM For your home, man cave, block party, etc!
Very fun system for the house. We first noticed this system at a rent to own store, where we tested it out before purchasing from Amazon.Upon receiving the item (which comes delivered via a freight company), we noticed that the box and packing material was quite decent. Everything was packaged very nicely, and easy to remove. The system is on wheels and has handles for moving it around which is helpful. Setup was ok. The instructions did not indicate how to plug everything in, but it was pretty self explanatory and only took a few minutes before it was up and rocking. The system has very nice sound and a good low bass on certain music. We have tested it with a multitude of genres including just pure bass CDs. The volume goes up to 30, but really 15 is quite loud enough. It shakes the walls and can be heard outside in our yard with doors and windows closed. The lightshow provided by the speakers is very good. Very bright lights. The speakers do not have to sit side by side as pictured either. There is about a 10ft cord to connect the left speaker to the right speaker. Very nice for seperating in a larger room.I was able to connect my Moto Razr phone via bluetooth, and my daughter was able to connect her Moto G phone as well.I was also able to hook my tv up to the aux input via RCA cables which is awesome for better sound for my plasma tv.Overall this is a very nice product. I would reccomend purchasing it via Amazon with the free 2 day shipping Prime offers, that more than pays for the cost of a year of Prime shipping!

Not for the price..
I heard this thing in person at a ABC Warehouse. They let me turn it up all the way and I was strongly dissapointed. It went pretty loud with ok bass but for how much it costs you can buy a cheap pro audio system that is wayyy louder. I have a b115w that minus the bass is louder that cost $350. Only real compliment I have was it looked pretty cool.

Not the professional quality I was hoping for, but fine for home use when the price is this discounted.
Neat-o, these are, but the focus should have concentrated more on the performance. I used a number of different sources, the radio tuner, and MP3 on memory stick, and high quality music commercially made CD (Sting), and cranking it up very far, the distortion was very noticeable. I had a good comparison, because my recently acquired from the Vine as well Bose Wi-Fi streamer out performed this by a lot. Unfortunately, I don't understand why do these not compete, at the prices they are charging, a clean amplifier and a solid speaker crossover and good separation of sound should be mandatory. I have a 150.00 receiver in my basement that creates cleaner sound.A speaker rep put on an audiophile seminar in a small electronic shop in Moscow, Idaho in 1978 to demonstrate the virtues of large Advent furniture speakers. Advent was a big name in the 70's because their sealed cabinet bookshelf speakers cranked out the bass even on relatively low-middle powered amps. If you could get over 15 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms you could get solid sound out of a speaker rated up to 100 Watts. The guy showed us a few tricks as he compared Advent to the completion. While I'm sure he concentrated on the Advents strengths, it still made a good case.First there is separation, and Advents are only a two driver device with a 10" Woofer placed higher off the floor, and a small tweeter. The crossover has a switch to tune the higher notes to either high, normal, or lower settings. The New designation was to indicate it had a newly designed tweeter that didn't blow out as easy as the original model. At the time many of the cheaper speakers of the day were ported, not sealed so the air could move easier. This made them drivable at lower power ranges, but sound reproduction suffered. The first test of separation was what I tested with today a recording of Ventura Highway sung by the legendary band America. In the song when the refrain is sung, all three band members join in for a rare tri-vocal. With good separation you can hear three distinct voices singing and playing. The New Advents passed the test and so did the 700 dollar in 1978 Klipsch speakers, but the 1000 dollar Yamaha's with the Beryllium coated tweeters, failed. The Klipsch sounded sweeter than the Advents, but there was about a 500 dollar price difference.Next test, involved dynamic range especially on the bass side. The Yamaha's were ported and even with larger tweeters could only do about a 40 cycle note. They used a tape of something called the great organ, a huge pipe organ to test a 30 cycle note and Yamaha failed as did Klipsch. The Advent passed and you could really feel the note in your feet. As for highs, again the Klipsch sounded sweeter, but not being a dog, I could not discern any drop when playing flutes, small bells, and other high note sounds. I went with what I could afford back then and bought the Advents, I still have them today, four of them, as double Advents were all the rage for the frugal audiophile who liked big sound. How did the Samsung speakers perform? Kind of mixed, they did produce the 30 cycle note, taken from my old copy of the great organ tape I connected, but the Ventura Highway song, the tri-vocal was sounding all as one. This contrasted to the same song on the Bose system right above it, with which you could distinguish the separation (although the Bose couldn't handle the 30 cycle note). These speakers should do bass well, they have 15 inch woofers rated to produce 22 cycles, my old Advent had 10" and were rated to 28 cycles. Most speakers do not rate nearly that low, on the other hand, most music is not that low, even bass drums don't come close to a 30 cycle note, the great organ has a short but very large diameter pipe that produces it, and it's rare in music. Now this system has a lot of fun features, Bluetooth, it plays MP3's with USB flash memory. It plays and rips CD's to USB flash was well. It has an FM tuner, and a number of colored LED effects as well as dance sound effects DJ effects etc. The Karaoke feature is nice, but why doesn't it support a laptop hard drive set up. It would need one like that if professional DJ's wanted to take this to an event. For me though the distortion at relatively low volume (still loud), was very high. The ratings on each speaker was six hundred something into four Ohms, not 1250 Watts each, I don't know where they add up to 2500 Watts. Specs were not listed in audiophile type detail, so there was a lot I couldn't tell, but if the THD was one percent, that's an unacceptable figure today unless it was at a good power range. Since I heard a lot of distortion, I figured it's not that good.Party time in your basement man cave with friends and neighbors, but professional use not likely. The design and construction of the cases and such looks close to professional, but it's really what's inside that counts and this has a long way to go. Right now the price is right though on Amazon, so at under a grand it makes a nice toy, the list price is 1699.00 on their website claiming a 550 off sale. With the extra 200 the Zon offers it will complete your party room nicely. Just use a clean signal and don't over crank them. Controls on this are rather easy, color coded speaker wire plug-ins and a long set of speaker connect cords. Big honking volume dial and large buttons on the front console, and an intuitive interface. I plugged in a USB stick with an MP3 on it and pushed the USB play control and it started playing right now. Same thing with the CD and it's control, and the radio, easy of up and running for sure. Although it's a chore to get them into the house in a 165 pound display box. Get them out of the box (see the video on YouTube, and then each has wheels and handles to tilt and wheel to where you need them. If you have steps up or down get help unless moving about 80 pounds of very bulky speaker is no threat to your manly powers.Mild recommendation for home use, but keep the cabinet design, improve the amp, the crossover, the speaker quality and the Karaoke interface, add maybe and HDMI, and an optical sound connection, and you might take this pro later.Update: I'm not changing the star rating, but I am upgrading the sound review slightly. I can't fathom why, but I kept thinking these were high priced boat anchors and really wanted to lower the rating to just two stars. Had it been a no name brand or at least not as flashy I might have done just that. The distortion was bad. However I realized that my sources were direct, so was fair to judge the speakers on that merit. I decided to plug some devices into the aux two analog input. I thought I'd tested pure digital, with the mp3 and the cd player, but those are apparently not up to snuff, nor is the FM tuner as devices connecting to the powerful speaker amplifiers. While still not nearly as good as the Bose, I got a lot better performance connecting a Sony CD changer to the analog input. This means the power amp although not great is better than I thought, I could go to near ear splitting sound without souring the overall sound. Better, but still not professional.

It's a fantastic system.
A great system with awesome sound! No distortion that we could detect - even when the volume is cranked to the max. The only thing I would change is install either a touch screen or something similar so that a person could browse through the recordings on the thumb drive more easily instead of forwarding through one song at a time until the right one is reached. Other than that, a great system that I would recommend to anyone who loves music.
