DONCO Twin/Full Dark Cappuccino Mission Bunk Bed with Dual Under Bed Drawers

The rails for the bedframe were cracked. We had to use wood glue to glue them together because when we got the boxes we threw away the kids beds that they currently have so we could not send the bed back. I am unhappy about this, but I cannot return it because now they are the only beds that the kids had I don’t know whether it was the packing or the boxes.

Pros: easy to assemble, drawers are HUGE, it looks good.Cons: it is a little wobbly. Needs nailed to the wall to take the wobble out of it. One MAJOR con with this item is the companies customer service. It’s horrible! I ordered this bed and all that showed up were the drawers. Amazon told me to get ahold of the company, I did, but since it wasn’t bought DIRECTLY from them they choose not to help!! It was hard to even get answers to my questions out of them. HORRIBLE customer service. I must say that AMAZON was amazing!! They reshipped the order. Props to amazons customer service.If I was to do it over again I would not order this bed. It is a little wobbly and dumb you have to reinforce it. There are better options out there. Might be a little more money but worth it.

I love this bed for my son but the process was a headache. The parts arrived without the screws.I was disappointed in Amazons lack of cell with this matter but once I reached out to the manufacturer they were great and mailed all of the screws and missing pieces right away. Once we received the screws assemble was a breeze and my son loved his bed. We have the twin over full with trundle model and you can’t beat that because it’s literally 3 beds for the price of one.

instructions are better than Ikea, material is the same as Ikea, there are cosmetic damage on a few locations on the frame. Material is cheap, same feel as ikea stuff.

I would buy these bunks again. The assembly instructions were easily understood, lots of diagrams to follow along. They ship in 4 separate boxes. All in all it took me about 5 hours to complete. I purchase the set with under bed drawers. There are times when it’s good to have a second pair of hands. The gray finish is nice and they are quite handsome. It was my intention to use the twin mattresses that I already had, but they are actually too deep for the top bunk. I will have to purchase a mattress which meets the safety recommendations of the manufacture for the top bunk. I’m very pleased and they have my recommendation.

I put two sets together with the help of my 9yo daughter. Took maybe 6 hours total, from unpacking to cleanup. Clear instructions, sturdy design. Some pilot holes not started, but didn't cause problem. Didn't have my ratchet set with me and assembled all with the little allen key provided. Found it easier, with second set, to assemble top bunk right on top, saving slats for last. It's a a bit of a heavy, awkward lift for one adult. Plus, I was doing it all in a very small room. Had 3 cousins (aka, cuzbuds) making forts and sleeping great in them last weekend.I shopped for a really long time and so happy to end with these!

This bed came with the most incredibly strong SMELL! It had to off gas for a month solid. No joke. I tried contacting the company several times via email asking if this was normal. Nobody ever contacted me. It eventually wore off. But I was legit amp worried about my children sleeping on this until the off gas had finished. The wood is actually quite soft and it it easy to leave an impression with just a fingernail mark. The paint is easy to scratch as well. Overall the bed looks great. The drawers slide on wheels on the ground. They are not on railings attached to the bed. I had no idea about that prior to it arriving and trying to put it together. The bed looks so nice just sitting in the room. My kids adore their new bed. One more thing, the screws need retightened every once in a while.

This arrived faster than expected in 4 boxes. I put it together mainly by myself but 2 people would be very helpful, especially when having to lift the twin bed on top. It does have that new painted wood smell, but it wasnt overpowering. It was easy to assemble and took me right around 5 hours. I used an 8 inch mattress on top and bottom, I would say bottom would accommodate a 10 inch mattress just fine. Everything is sturdy, and there were no cracks or boards that were messed up or chipped. I highly recommend this bunk bed, quality and great price.
