Thoroughly Impressive in Story and Art
Bears have a special place in my heart so I love it when I can find a children's book to share with my niece and nephews which feature a bear so I purchased it immediately. I don't even know how to explain how beautiful and amazing this book is. This is a work of art in word and, well actual art, that make it clear that the team who put this together put a lot of thought, care, effort and creativity into each and every page. This is a book meant for giving, sharing and passing down through generations. With both child and adult in mind, they cleverly made it striking and simple but at the same time there are so many small details that you won't mind reading it over and over because you'll be discovering something new each time. I appreciate the cute names that fit the story and characters, the adventure, and the history. The illustrations are like whimsical fine art that spark imagination and wonder into a young mind. Fortunately, they've thought of that and even provide links to complimentary and complementary printable pages for you and your child to express the creativity that it incites. As soon as I saw this book I went looking to see if they had any others. There is another which focuses on the alphabet in the same beautiful, creative and thoughtful way. I highly recommend them both.My only complaint is that they don't have more, but it's worth the wait until the next one.

GRABBY LITTLE FINGERS!
Just received our beautiful 'Goggles' picture book and OH BOY!Not only are the characters beautifully done, great little details are everywhere. The kids had quite a jumble over who would get to scrutinize the pages next. I can already tell I'm going to have to buy a second copy when this one has met its match in all those little hands. Great to see them so enthusiastic and intrigued by a book - rather than an iPad.The story and illustrations are everything reported by other reviewers, I wanted to tell of the children who enjoyed Goggles, the airplane, and that cheesy little mouse.

Honey and Gasoline have a lot in common in this clever tale of flying
“There once was a very small bear who dreamed of flying. Everyone told him he was too little to fly. But he always wore flying goggles, just in case they changed their minds, which is why all his family called him “Goggles.” Whether in the bathtub, at breakfast, or tucked in bed, Goggles dreamed of flying, but always with his jar of honey nearby. The desire to fly must have run in the Wright family, because his grandparents had built their first airplane, called it “The Wright Plane.” However, one important obstacle made flying impossible, a reliable fuel. Lemonade, custard, ketchup, and chocolate were too fizzy, gluggy, slurpy, or gooey, until Goggles recommended his favorite food HONEY!With courage, determination, and sneakiness, Goggles slips on board the first flight and realizes that dreams do come true. Find out how Goggles saves the day when the Flyer flies through the clouds and runs out of Honey. Kids will love Goggles, his little pal Mouse, the amazing fantasy airplane, and the honey jar that fills up as the pages are turned. Endpapers contain a dedication to the famous Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright, the first humans to fly in the “Wright Flyer.”

What an imagination!
I loved everything about this book. The layout, the storyline, the fantastice illustrations and most of all the imagination of the author, who takes us flying with his amazing bears! I also appreciated the historical facts about the Wright brothers that are presented at the end of the book. In this way, beside the inspiration to follow your dreams, the author is teaching our kids some true facts about the history of flying. I'm sure this beautiful story will be a great success!

A timeless book, sure to be a classic!
A beautifully written story, illustrated by two amazing artists. You’ll find exceptional attention to detail with hidden gems on every page. The author/illustrators thought of everything, like “B News” on the camera (clever!) and including a goldfish in on the action (how thoughtful!) and so much more. Goggles is fun, inspiring, and just a joy to read. Bright colorful illustrations throughout and even a bit of history about the Wright Brothers at the end. Looking forward to the next in this series! Highly recommend.

A child will be very eager to hear what happens next wth this book.
In Goggles: The bear who dreamed of flying, I liked everything about this book. The first things to enjoy about it are the pictures, because the artwork in it is just so beautiful. A child will be eager to see what happens next as the storyline is so compelling. I have read hundreds and probably thousands of children's books, as an Early Childhood Educator for 27 years, and this is one of my favorites.

Sweet little book
I just read this sweet (no pun intended) little book. I was a student of Richard Robinson, the amazing illustrator of this book, about 10 years ago, which is why I bought it. His paintings are magnificent and I was interested to see how his illustrations would look on a small scale, in a children’s book. They’re stunning... And I love the story! The history at the end of the book was a surprise, too. My grandchildren will love this book.
