Super fun and easy to use!
I’m really impressed with this foam clay! It’s super easy to work with, soft, moldable, and perfect for making cosplay pieces or fun little crafts. It dries pretty lightweight but still feels sturdy, and it takes paint really well once it’s fully dry. I used it to make some costume details and they turned out great. No cracking, no mess, just a fun product that does what it says. Definitely grabbing more for future projects!

no mess, well sealed, nice and soft
Pro tips: Painting the dried piece with a thin layer of tacky glue makes it look plastic, which is beautiful, but also gives it a smoother finish for when you want to add paint. I didn't realize when I made my first two masks. If you don't prime it first, it has a sort of dry/cracking effect which looks pretty cool as well, but figuring out the tacky glue thing is a game changer for this foam clay.Came in a sealed ziploc bag, not a thin plastic bag like some of the other reviews showed. No mess. The lid popped off in transit, but since it was in the ziploc, no harm done! Soft, pliable, like a cross between bubblegum and marshmallow fluff. Even if you let it dry for a few days, pop it in the freezer and forget about it, you can warm it up in your hands, add a little water and can knead it back into it's previous gummy state, it's pretty forgiving. Definitely will be something I will want to make all kinds of crafts with, especially with the combo of tacky glue.

Great product
Exactly what we expected. My son used it to make a Slimer prop for Halloween and it was easy to use. Good quality and easy to mold.

Great clay, poorly sealed package
It's great, light weight, and dries ever so slightly flexible so there's no cracking. My only negative thing is that it's not sealed well. I bought two tubs at the same time, only opened one when I got it and it was perfect. A few months later I opened the (still sealed) second tub and it was rubbery.

Great – Fun to Work With!
I really love this clay! I’m no expert in crafting and don’t do this type of thing often, but I thought it would be fun to try as a beginner, and it’s been perfect for making small figures and designs. It took a little time to get the hang of how it works, and I did a few test figures first. The foam does bounce back a bit as you mold it, so you’ll need to adjust from time to time. One thing to note is to be careful how you set your pieces to dry, as they do flatten on the side they’re resting on. I’ve found it works best when they have one designated base to sit on. As it dries, the outer layer becomes rigid, while the inside remains soft, which allows you to add texture and detail like puncture holes. The clay sticks to itself effortlessly, making it easy to add pieces on or place little details without damaging them (like the little flowers on my bear.)I also experimented with adding a tiny bit of acrylic paint to alter the base color, which worked fine, though adding too much will cause the clay to seize up and become difficult to mold. I also found it paints beautifully once dried. When fully hardened, the clay is lightweight and solid, though it does take some time to fully dry inside, even if it feels dry to the touch outside. I know it's fully dried when I can knock on it and it doesn't bounce back at all and sounds hollow inside.Overall, it’s been a really fun clay to work with, and I’m excited to keep experimenting!

Good product!
Worked very well for my project, nice and light, which was my main concern. Dried in thick layers in about two days, so not too long, and id say the durability is good for foam clay. And I think I got a lot for my money. I'd say it was a very good product.

Doesn’t hold shape well
This clay was soft and easy to work, but for the larg-ish shape I was building it didn’t hold the fine details and got a bit distorted during drying. I don’t think I would use again for a shape that has relatively thick pieces. The “Bob Shrinker” head I’ve got pictures of was built around a foam egg shape, so actually wasn’t that thick. As you can see the mouth got really distorted, the nostrils collapsed (I fixed it a bit before taking the “after” picture, and the wrinkle details were lost a bit.

Super pliable & easy to work with
This was my first experience with foam clay. I love how lightweight it was on the finished item. While making a number of trim pieces and embellishments for a single item, the weight (and balance) of the finished item were a concern. No worries though - those elements barely added any weight at all.I bought & opened this package in December. I didn't open again for several months, and finally pitched it after spotting faint mold discolorations yesterday (in the final days of May). That's an incredible opened-pkg "shelf life" compared to homemade cold porcelain. My only "complaint" is that detailing and edges produced (from the individual molds) are the tiniest bit softer than homemade or commercial air-dry clays. And that attribute just lent a gentle "weathered" quality to my molded elements, which were simply perfect on the finished product. Had I not seen the same embellishments made from other air-dry clays, I wouldn't likely have even noticed this subtle difference. And speaking of differences: The final finished clay work is like tough, rubberized foam. Sealing the piece provided additional reinforcement. While it's nothing you'll be cutting diamonds with, the foam clay was a great option to embellish a hand-made, customized gift. Bonus: If the recipient drops the finished item, or even drops something on it that makes contact with this finished, dried foam clay, the chance of breakage or cracking of the embellishments is virtually zero.I'm very happy with this product's performance and won't hesitate to buy it again for similar applications.
