Easily Digested!
As someone who can’t digest beans well if at all and who doesn’t want to eat much meat I was struggling to find other sources of protein. When I decided to give these Adzuki beans a try it was a complete game changer. I can eat them with no digestive discomfort and, as a bonus, they cook faster than other beans and they are flavorful. What’s not to love! By the way, I rarely write reviews but these beans are awesome!

Love EVERYTHING about Adzuki beans.
These came in excellent condition. I use them for cooking and sprouting. They have yielded nearly 100% sprouting capacity, which exceeds the beans I had previously.I had to learn some patience ... As they often come mixed with mung beans in sprouting mixes. As well as sometimes with lentils. The Adzukis take longer. So these other legumes will be quite a bit ahead, even making the Adzukis seem to be "dead".I sprout them alone now in their own jar or tray, and I eat them with just a 1/4 to 1/2 inch sprout showing. That is when they seem sweetest.Wonderful addition to salads.

taste great in dessert recipes
bought it after watching a korean drama and saw a mochi type dessert with a sweet filing. These have a naturally sweetish hint, so you don't need as much sugar in a mochi recipe if using these beans as a filling or topping. taste great in my opnion, kind of on expensive side, but other than that, i'd buy again.

Great substitute beans
Great substitute beans for pinto, or kidney beans.

Not fully softened even after soaking and pressure cooking
I won't be purchasing these again. The first time I made them I soaked them for 8 hours and cooked them in my InstantPot. Some of the beans were still hard. But, I wanted to give another chance. I soaked the next batch for 8 hours (yesterday) and changed out the water 3 times using hot water. Still, some of the beans still had hard spots and I wasn't even able to make them for dinner that night. I ended up soaking them longer and refrigerating them after more water changes in hope that I can cook them the next day (today). It's ridiculous to have to soak them for about 1.5 days just to rehydrate before cooking. I haven't had this issue with Adzuiki beans in the past or any of the other types of beans I make.

It tasted very good. I am from Japan near Kyoto where very good quality Tanba azuki beans are produced. So I am definitely very selective. I was less than pleased by the very poor quality of red azuki beans sold by local Japanese supermarket here in CA so I gave a try to this product. The bag contains some low grade beans (discolored and disfigured), but most of them are decent shape. It did not have distinctive bitterness that low quality red beans tend to produce thus I did not have to dump water many times. That being said, I took two stars off because they are produced in China where the food safety regulation is not very robust as compared to other industrialized countries. Thus, I am not sure if I would like to repeat it again. But I think the price is competitive because of it... so if you don't mind about China, then this is a bag of good tasting beans for you.

Best Goji Berries
I've been using goji berries daily for around 5 years now. These are the best tasting ones I've had. I had to check the ingredients to see if they added sugar or something but nope. They are just good goji berries that don't go all hard after the package is open like others always do. They are sweeter too. I eat them with nuts for a snack sometimes. I used to only use them in smoothies, they weren't good enough to eat on their own, and I've had many brands. This is my 2nd bag.

These beans do not sprout!
These beans have no life in them at all. They look all nice and glossy but they are dead. I tried sprouting four different times, but each time I start the process by soaking, after a few hours the beans would start to rot (you can tell from the foul smell). I would then rinse thoroughly, drain and leave to continue the sprouting process but the rotten smell would return within a couple of hours. I then rinsed and tried to cook so that the beans is not completely wasted, I ended cooking for up to five hours but the beans remained hard like stones. In the end, I just gave up and threw everything in the bin. What a waste of money. All I wanted was sprouted aduki beans!

It's good to go
Just as I expected. Good azuki beans. 4 stars because it's from China, and we don't know how clean it is. OG means nothing over there. Prefer North American beans.

Healthy food product
I like the regular delivery, as these beans are impossible to find in the stores and online delivery groceries. We make a dish called “Red Dragon Pie.” Delicious and nutritional
