Great speaker!
Got this as an upgrade for the stock speaker in a vox AC30 S1. The bottom end on the amp is now 100% better than before and the high end is much smoother....even at low volumes. They say that an AC30 needs an alnico speaker and now know what they mean. Trouble with the S1 is that it's a single speaker and therefore needs a high wattage alnico to do the job. The Celestion cream fits the bill at 90watts. It's pricey but worth it. Marginally less expensive than a Jensen Blackbird. The amp is now a few pounds heavier but the sound far outweighs the concern over carrying it. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great speaker covers a lot of ground
The media could not be loaded. I’m using it for classic rock to hard rock. Sounds great with my JCM800 and 5150 combo. The sound bite is with the 5150 Iconic combo. I’m too lazy to do a decent klip.

Warm. Medium loud. Very nice as well as expensive.
Added some warmth. Removed the harsh tone I found in the 6505+. I paired it with a one twelve large cab and a new redback. And it screams in the right way. This is my current medium event metal rig.

Celestion makes some awesome speakers!
I purchased the gold version for another amp and was floored by the tone.Picked this up for another amp because of the rated power handling and it is just awesome. If you are chasing the best tone from your guitar amp then consider the Celestion AlNico line of speakers. I have this paired with an Albion tube amp rated @35 watts and it just sounds so good.The best does cost more but you only live once so treat yourself. YOU WILL NOT REGRET PURCHASING THIS SPEAKER!

Versatile speaker, works with any guitar/pickups
Very happy with this upgrade, I used it to replace the stock G12M in my AC15C1... The amp already sounded great, but the creamback gives it a depth, clarity, and presence that the greenback didn’t quite have. Definitely recommending!
