I love these; they have been in constant use for two years. I have one in my studio/office and one in the kitchen for nighttime lighting. They have been absolutely wonderful, but now (after 2 years of nightly use) they no longer hold a charge for more than a day or two. They only come on with motion the way I have them set up. They produce a lovely pure white light and are very bright, though as it has been said, they do shut off after only 30 seconds, and then one needs to wave a hand under them again if they don't automatically detect your presence right away. There is a constant setting also but I don't use that since it would be too easy to forget to turn them off and use all their charge too frequently

Bright and easy to charge

The size and thinness of the light are immediately appealing. The so-called instructions should mention that the very thin plastic film on the magnetized strip should be removed. One of my lights kept falling, and actually set off a chain reaction by hitting the faucet switch and turning on the water. Not good. Also, the light needs to be charged much more frequently than as advertised. Why not have instructions that mention needing to remove the thin film and that the light will need a few cycles of charging before it will perform consistently? My other comment is a design issue, which could have been easily avoided: since these lights are almost always placed facing down, why in the world do the words "ON," "OFF" and "G" thus appear upside down AND backwards when mounted? Net=net, they read: ""NO," "FFO," and "G," but upside down. The charging mount is also upside down, and counter-intuitive to the way most of us insert chargers. In other words, it's "bass-ackwards. " The words and mount should have been designed with the way the light would be used. It's almost funny, and certainly dumb. Overall, it's nice but some common sense would have gone a long way... I tried emailing the company but no one replied to me, hence my review here.

I've purchased LED battery lights before and been disappointed in their quality and functioning. This light works and is bright enough to truly light up a closet, or kitchen cooking areas. I'm going to buy some more. Open a closet door and the light is on before I finish opening the door(s). Very easy to apply and charge the batteries that actually hold a charge! Highly recommended.

I needed 2 motion sensitive lights for my closet. Searching Amazon gave me many options but many of the light units were short and preferred units no les than 10 inches for adequate light. These are 11 inches. They are very easy to install because they give you 8 self-adhesive strips for each light and 4 is all it required. Thanks for planning ahead guys. The light sensitivity was perfect. I placed the unit on the closet ceiling with the sensor bulb at the open side of the closet. As soon as my hand reaches in , the light goes on. I love no need for batteries and USB plugs were included for easy charging. The value is great because individually the are less expensive that shorter unit. Great Buy!

Overall, these lights do what they say. They are pretty bright and the magnetic attachment is nice so you can easily grab the light to go charge it. There are two things that could use improvement... the first is that the switch to turn them on, so they stay on, is tiny and on the side of the light. So, they can be hard to reach. Also, I've pushed the little switch and had the entire light fall off the magnetic holder a few times. The second area for improvement is that the motion sensor only works at night and it is inconsistent. I have mine over a bathroom sink and when I want to shave, for example, the lights won't go on because my bathroom lights are on. So, I have to find the little button to turn them on and then remember to turn them off when I'm done. Also, I have two lights but only one will go on at a time with the motion sensor because the first one turns on and then it's not dark enough for the second one to turn on. Finally, the motion sensor is timed and they will often go off while I'm washing my face/using the sink. You can't wave your hand and have it go back on easily.

I bought six of these to put under my kitchen cabinets. They are great. They hold a charge longer than I expected. I recommend.

This set of lights was the 6th set of LEPOTEC LED lighting fixtures I've purchased SINCE 2018. The previous 5 sets have performed flawlessly & still are. This was the first set designed with a USB C charging port & contained the highest LED count per unit compared to my previous purchases of their product line. I had high confidence that these would perform flawlessly as well. I purchased these for our rural property & did not even take them out of their box until 3 Mos after purchase. First unit was installed & worked great through 3-4 charges. Next time it needed charging, I turned unit OFF, plugged to recharge & the LEDs came ON. I kept charging it, moved the switches back & forth, with no effect. Let it charge 3 hrs, reinstalled & no matter what position switch was in, it stayed on. I always use these in "G" mode. LIFETIME WARRANTY ? I contacted Lepotec support thru Amazon messaging, they replied for me contact them through another email address, which I did. Then they wrote me back through yet another email address. I sent them a photo of the unit with the switch in the off position, plugged in, charging with the LEDS lit up like Christmas. Then they asked me to send them a video of same, which Amazon , due to technical issues @ the time, could not upload. At that point, I grew tired of the musical chairs. I finally drug the 2nd unit out of the box, installed & it worked fine until the first time it needed to be recharged. It replicated exactly what the 1st unit did. The previous 5 sets, which were all Micro USB charging ports, are still working great, AND hey! ; they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY !!! HA HA !! I WILL MAKE NO FUTURE PURCHASES OF THEIR PRODUCTS. It was a great relationship, til it wasn't.

I got these for my kitchen to Gove me extra light. They work wonderful. They are bright and the sensor is good too or I can keep on for when I am in the kitchen at the bench. They are light, easy to install and the perfect side and brightness and USB chargeable. Really good product. Will buy again for other parts of the house.

Pretty good - need to recharge a bit too often

I was skeptical at first but it only took a few minutes to set up and you will be amazed with the motion detection and brightness of this apparatus. We mainly use it to light up our room cabinets which didn't have any lighting at all. No drilling for the metal plate, just put the double adhesion tape and voila! Your base is set and all you need to do is attach the unit (via magnet) This is worth the money I tell you. Highly recommended.
