some of the best coffee I've ever made
First thing first - I love coffee, but specifically I love iced coffee. Making iced drinks at home was challenging/a hassle because i don't want to invest in a big, bulky coffee maker with iced functions, and coffee pods. I feel they are horrible for the environment and are so wasteful of plastic (like the bottles of cold brew sold at the grocery store, as well). Because of my desire to make the best coffee with the least amount of waste, all of the coffee accoutrement I've invested in is metal, portable, reusable, and durable, like my bialetti moka pot percolator, and a hand coffee grinder for fresh ground beans.I decided on investing in the rumble jar too, to have unlimited access to iced coffee without a big financial investment or environmental impact. Let me say - the investment was SO worth the $20. I will bring this with me now wherever I go, along with my percolator. Not only is it an awesomely reusable option, it's durable, VERY easy to clean, and gave me the best cup of iced coffee I've had in a long time. It really feels like I have a full barista set up in my house with none of the equipment. At night, I grind fresh beans, dump them in the rumble jar/mason jar combo, agitate, and let it sit. (The agitation is really cool to see, also!!) It's such a low effort for high output of a large amount of excellent coffee. One mason jar for me is good for two days of coffee. It's strong, tastes amazing, and is so simple. From my perspective, it will be worth the purchase after 3 uses because I will have saved 3 plastic cold brew bottles from the grocery store. I am eager to see how well the metal will hold up, but the metal looks so much more durable than some of the dupes I've seen on Amazon or even Aldi.If you are searching for a reusable and SIMPLE way to make iced coffee all summer, here is your new thing!!! If you are searching for a coffee-making option for traveling/camping/eco friendly-ness, INVEST here.

My favorite cold brew maker
I loved my first Rumble Jar so much that I bought another one! We use them every day to make cold brew in the warmer months, so now I always have a clean one ready to go. It's easy to use and the cold brew comes out great with minimal sediment at the bottom of the jar, and I love that it works with the mason jars we already have. The only thing that I would improve, if I had to give constructive feedback, would be that it is a little hard to see the fill lines on the jar. But this is not an issue for me because I weigh my coffee beans with a scale to get the perfect amount for every batch, which is what I would recommend everyone do anyway. I recommend this product to everyone!

64 oz Rumble Jar. Makes great cold brew.
This product works very well. I already had 2 rumble jars in the 32 oz size, but I like to make a big batch of cold brew at one time. Instead of getting 2 more smaller ones, I decided to try the 64 oz filter. Together, they make the perfect amount for my needs. All the rumble jars are easy to fill and easy to clean.I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this product.

Easy to use; great coffee!
Rumble Jar pretty much eliminates the mess of cold brewing. The filter holds almost all the ground coffee except for the finest sludge from grinding, which you can decant or filter out. The Rumble Jar filter is marked with levels to add your coffee to for different brewing strengths- really easy. I love my cold brew and highly recommend this product !

Easier than a filter bag but not as fine
I received my first Rumble Jar and it had a small dent in the side. Company replaced it without question and the new one is in great condition! The Rumple Jar is easy to use except I still put it on a scale to weigh my grounds. The lines inside the filter are pretty good but they seem way lower than the mixture I like. The filter is also not as fine as some bags so there are more fine particles in the cold brew. In 64oz it's less than 1oz at the bottom with particles though, so nothing most would notice. The lid works great and even when brewing, if I turn the jar upside down no grounds come out. When filling the mason jar with water, I have been also pouring some through the Rumble Jar to ensure everything gets wet. A couple of my brews, when I just added water over the cap as instructed, it came out very light. If you are looking to get away from disposable coffee bags, this is a great tool. I ran out of bags one day and didn't want that to happen again. It still needs to be cleaned, but is easy work if you are cleaning mason jars anyway.

Great for coffee and tea loose leaf
I use the Rumble Jar for cold brew coffee and cold brew tea and it works well for both. It comes with a 100% cotton bag that can be used as a second filtration step and it is worth it to remove the small amount of grounds left behind from both the coffee and tea. I add fruit to it when making tea and it does well with infusing the flavors. I also use yerba mate loose leaf tea, so if you have a finer tea it might create more grounds. Again the cotton bag filter will solve that problem. The best thing about the filter is the cap that comes with it. I don't have to worry about coffee grounds or tea leaves on the top of the lid or the metal strands the come loose and stick out over time like when I used the cone mesh filters. This will be the only filter I use from now on!

Simple, easy, delicious cold brew
This basic filter is all you need, along with a common 1 quart Ball jar, to make smooth, awesome cold brew. I use it to supplement my morning hot coffee in the summer to keep the caffeine boost going into early afternoon. Diluted 1:1 with ice, water and a little coconut milk and you have a great treat. The filter is finely holed so no grounds get into my coffee and it is so easy to put together. Just 12 hours on the counter and it’s ready to drink.

So easy, so good. Exactly as advertised!
Got my wife to pick one up. Only regret is that we didn’t get the 1/2 gal jar size!!! AKP absolutely LOVES it! I’m usually not a big fan of cold coffee, but man, what a pleasant surprise! We live in South Alabama, and a cold cup on a hot morning isn’t the worst thing, AT ALL! Highly recommend!

Just what I have been looking for
The rumble jar is so quick and easy to use it should be used by anyone making cold brew coffee. The clean up is simple. It's one of the best products I have bought. I have had no need to use the cloth filter bag as the cold brew from the filter is perfect.Fill course grind coffee into the filter.( I like mine strong so I fill up to the 2nd mark and place in kilner jar. )Fill with bottled spring water then brew for 24hrs in the fridge or 12hrs on the counter. Easy as that.Buy it and you will not be disappointed.
