Braswell's Fig Preserves, 11.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I have tried so many fig jams and preserves but I always return to these. The amount of figs they use and the consistency of the preserves are perfect ratios. It really tastes homemade. I like to purchase them in the case of 6 because sometimes there's months between them being available and my family really hates when we don't have any. We have given family and coworkers jars to taste and they all are fans now. The price has almost doubled since the pandemic is the only reason I gave 4 stars for Value for money. If you have a large family they will need more than a jar per meal if they like to have a tablespoon per biscuit and a Sandwich or pancake takes even more.

I used them on toast or with Brie cheese on crackers as appetizers

it will be nice if a little less sweet but I can deal with this sweet taste. this will be for spread for bread. I would like to have junk less sweet desert can food. long ago italian ex grandfather made desert of Fig this fruit. it was watery and churnk sweet that I was die for it. he did not give recipe to me and he passed away. I did not know the name of fruit even. I found it after 30yrs later. I love it Fig fruit jam taste . thank you.

Love the preserves,but a 50% increase in price since March? No thanks, I’ll buy it elsewhere for less.

It's hard to find good fig perserves especially ones that don't cost a fortune. These were on sale when we purchased them so they are definitely worth it. My husband really enjoys them with breakfast.

These are absolutely the best fig preserves I have ever tried. These are delicious on toast or biscuits but my favorite thing to make with these is a delicious old-fashioned fig cake.
