IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH WATER YOU USE BUT I CHANGE MINE EVERY 12 MONTHS HOPE THIS HELPS BOB

Yes. If I recall correctly the filter is good for 6,000 to 10,000 litres of water so the answer to how long it lasts is really down to your consumption but as a rough estimate reckon on changing the filter every 6 months.

According to the packaging, both the system and the cartridges are made in China

Q: When I replaced the filter, the water is now very cloudy and doesn't seem to clear. Is this normal?

You have to flush it out let water run till clear,I’ve had the same problem it’s now ok hope this helps.
