Easy to use and a value buy
I had transplanted a tall lilac bush. At first, it was doing fine but then it was attacked by paper wasps so it became very weak from the transplant and the bugs. I wrapped the trunk in protective gauze and then anchored it with this tree stake kit. The first two times I set it up, the ties went slack. I had to move the stakes around twice before they were at the right angles to support the bush in the right way. But now that they are in the right spots, the tree is secure and looking great. It has re-established its root system and is doing great.Note: You should use a rubber mallet to pound the stakes into the ground. A metal hammer could break them. I also found a youtube video that was helpful in showing me how to tie the right knots.

Fantastic stake kit. Tried a couple different ones and this is the best.
I used two of these and two of Jobe's TreeStaKit for Medium Trees. I without a doubt liked this kit better. The strap system works very well and the string grips to itself when tying knots. I used one of these on my 7-foot tall Crabapple tree in my backyard that gets a lot of wind. The cords have remained taut and stakes haven't moved in the ~6 weeks it's been planted. I used another one of these on a 8-foot Japanese Maple that is substantially bulkier than the Crabapple and in an equally windy area. It's only been planted for about a week but it too is doing just fine. The Jobe's kits contain the same type of string (although in an ugly, very noticeable bright yellow color) but instead of straps it has two lengths of rubber hosing like a garden hose. It works OK for larger trees but anything with lots of branching close to the trunk and it will not work well at all. The hosing isn't pliable at all. It did work OK on a large 12-foot Serviceberry tree I planted as the trunk was thick enough and there wasn't much branching up close to the trunk. However, I also used one on my 6-foot Blue Point Spiral Juniper and with the bulk of the tree being right up against the trunk, it didn't work well at all. The hosing is way too much bulk for a tree of it's size.

DeWitt Tree Stake Straight Kit 15" Worth the money
I had a Pomegranate tree that had been staked by a long wooden pole which was recently removed. The tree was tilted because of the weight of the fruit the past season. The DeWitt Tree kit was an affordable option for me to try to straighten the tree. I am quite pleased with it although you have to read the directions (the pictures on the insert were too small to understand but the website gave me the information I needed. Without putting a loop in the cord, and routing the line through the loop before tie off, the cord would slip. It is also easier to use a small sledge hammer to put in the stakes (they are quite sturdy). One thing I would suggest is to include another tree sleeve since the one sleeve only has two loops and there are three stakes.

This was perfect for my new tree!!!
This was perfect for my new tree, it was easy to set up and it helps keep my new tree from leaning more to one side, which is exactly why I bought it. Now my tree stand up straight like it supposed to. It's made of good quality and I believe will last a very long time. I am going to purchase more of these for some new trees when I purchase them next spring. Good quality, I do recommend this product from this seller.

Easy to install
I liked that it was easy to install and seems to be holding my tree in place. I just installed yesterday but it seems super sturdy and like it will keep my tree in place.

OK, but rope is No Good
Stakes are long enough and appear sturdy. They withstood pounding with heavy mallet. Strap is easy to use. The cord is useless ... it won't hold a taut line hitch. I replaced with regular cord and all is good now. Bottom line, I like the kit and will order again for my other trees, but I suggest using other lines.

Work really well with two people
I know this could be done with one person but it works better with two people. All you have to do is have the one person hold the tree and lean it toward opposite of leaning. Then you wrap it around the tree and take it into the ground. I have about four trees being straightened and sometimes I use three, two or one strap. Works really great and if you can find a hook or your branch on the tree to stick it even works better through the wind.

Holds the trees in place
Easy to use and better than another brand purchased locally. The longer stakes worked well with no breakage. A better grade of poly rope would have been more convenient for threading and tying.
