Papo Asian Elephant Toy Figure

The detailing is excellent, the elephant is solid and relatively heavy for its size giving it more realism and a pleasant sense of substantialness when you hold it. It is relatively durable (made of plastic) but should not be thrown about violently because that could break the finer parts like tusks. Mygrandchildren love to play with these amazing toys and occasionally take them along to the zoo...

OK, I bought this to amuse myself because it's close to my vision of The Librarian from Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. The slight smile, the head scratching hand give him an interesting almost human quality. As for the figure itself, it is well modeled and painted of solid semi-flexible resin with sculpted fur and a well detailed face. He has a CE stamp on his bum. (Do we all? I must check some time) I place him on a shelf over my monitor to remind me of the three rules of the Librarians of Time and Space 1. Silence, 2. Books must be returned by or before the date shown, and 3. Never alter the rules of causality.

Nice and sturdy. I plan on using this in a diorama I am creating

So cute with that "baby asian elephant" to accompany. Bought this for my 6 year old daughter who loves elephants and she loves them!

I have a crazy collection of these (primarily Schleich) animal figures stashed in odd places all over the house. This guy was too cute to pass by. The funny thing is that I accidentally ordered two......Well, now, one is sitting on my desk at work. Great humorous addition to a too serious life.

Bought this orangutan for my daughters 1sr grade Orangutan shoebox habitat. It is just the right size for the shoebox habitat .
