Hi Hazel! I keep mine in the condiment tray in the refrigerator. That was it’s less likely to be knocked over and I can easily take the door tray out if it spills. Yes, depending on how much baking soda you put in the Moo Moo, if it’s knocked over some will come out the holes at the top.

Q: How much baking soda does it hold?

The item is 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide. I am not sure if an entire box of baking soda will fit but it will be close.

It comes apart, and then you pour the baking soda into it and put the lid back down on it.
