HexArmor ThornArmor 3092 Heavy Duty Outdoor Landscaping Work Gloves with Puncture Protection, XX-Small

These gloves were great for my handling of Cholla cactus, with their sharp spines. As stated in other reviews, the gloves are a little stiff, due to the tough protective material. I would recommend these gloves for handling cacti and other prickly plants.

Our Oklahoma ranch has a nasty thorny vine that climbs our trees. They are easy to cut off at the base, but pulling their 20 and 30-foot-long vines out of the trees is unpleasant work. For years I've searched for gloves that I can grab and pull the vines without regard for whether the thorns will rip into my hands. Very thick leather was the best I ever came up with - until now.• PROS - My initial testing with these gloves shows that the briers (live and dead ones) have met their match. I grab a bunch of vines and pull away. If I grab more than my weight can rip from the trees, my hands slide down the vines, stripping off the thorns as I go. NO PUNCTURES. 👍🏻• CONS - Very expensive for a pair of gloves - but worth it to me.• I'll update my review if the performance changes.

I really like how thorn proof the palm is, I have yet to have one penetrate from blackberries. Unfortunately the back side only offers protection of a material similar to jeans.I cannot imagine a situation where I would want that much thorn protection on my palm and almost zero on the back side of my hand.If these came with a goat leather back or something along those lines then I think they would be perfect. As is I will keep them because they are useful, I just have to remember to be super careful not to let anything contact the back of my hand.

Been using these to clear dense thickets briar and some large dead blackberry bushes. The palms are sticker resistant, but at the edges of the black coating some times one gets in and sticks you. The back of hand covering is not much protection. Recommend put on a pair of heavy duty nitrile gloves and then these to keep sticks to edge and back of hand to a minimum.

Great gloves. Had to replants large cactus and no issues the thorns did not puncture the gloves. Great quality, gloves for perfectly no issue picking things up

I was relieved to be able to use these gloves to move my long spined cacti without pain or injury.

Works perfectly for my needs. Can handle my plants with no concerns of poking my palms. You can still get poked through the glove on the back of your hands but that's expected with the lack of protective coating. They leave you with enough manuverability to handle larger plants, although with the bulk of the protective layer it can be difficult to handle smaller plants with much control. Overall I highly recommend them, even if they're a bit pricey for gloves.

The picture shows someone holding a cactus in both hands. These gloves DO NOT protect the wearer from the thorns. The top is cloth with no extra protection. The fingers have a bit of a rubber coating, but not on the thumb. We had to put duck tape on the thumbs to do any work. In addition, thorns went through the palm too.

Utilisé pour aller aux châtaignes , le dessus des doigts n'est pas protégé donc prudence.Sinon nickel sur les parties protégées ( Paume et dessous des doigts)

Da tempo cercavo un paio di guanti adatto ai trapianti di piante grasse che possiedo in gran numero ed anche di dimensioni importanti. Finalmente li ho trovati. Sono davvero protettivi. Unico appunto li avrei voluti di una misura inferiore, ma non c'erano .
