Ellis Curtain Brissac Lined Scallop Valance, 70 x 17, Blue

These curtains are well made and are the most beautiful colors in a gentle way. Almost every color is represented in these curtains without them being loud. Beautiful design. I placed some IKEA lace panels underneath them. These are more like drapes and hang wonderful and even. They do not block the sun completely, but they do shadow the room enough to watch tv when there is a glare or to nap in the afternoon. The drapes are lined and do help keep the cold out, but they are not as insulated as I would like. Having said that, I have to remember that this January and February has been unbelievably cold this winter. So many different colors of furniture would go with the design and color of these drapes. Background is neutral and a cream color. The other colors gently swirl through the drapes in a soft pattern. I bought these for a living room, but they would be beautiful in a bedroom too allowing many choices for bed covers to go with them.

Oh my goodness! These are the most beautiful curtains! They are light weight, but lined. They are not black out curtains, but they still block a lot of light.The description says red, but the flowers are mostly different shades of pink. I was discouraged, at first, but after I hung them, I could not part with them. They are so beautiful!!! So I decided to add a little pop of pink, in my room, in order to bring it all together, with the curtains. I just added a floral arrangement, and new throw pillow covers, with a touch of pink in them.Believe it, or not, these are in my livingroom. I love the dramatic change! These are so perfect for Spring, and Summer!My husband even loves the new look!I will update this soon, and add photos.These are quality looking curtains! They have a nice feel to them too.The may seem a little pricey, but they are worth every penny!I will update after I have had them a while.I just love them!!!

The minute I hung these my bedroom looked like a different room! The curtains really brought a brightness. They’re not sheer by any means. But they do an excellent jojoba at filtering light. I can nap during the day if I close the curtains. Not totally dark but DARKER than a sheer. They’re linked with a muslin like white fabric which is great not only for light filtering but makes the colors pop.I wasn’t too happy about the grommets since I’m more traditional with style but I loved the curtains so I took a chance and purchased. And I love the grommets! When the curtains are hung, the grommets make the curtains hang I’m pleats. The effect is softly folded drapes that look great, grommets get mostly hidden by the pleats and I can open and close them much easier. Bottom line is, buy these. The prints are similar to others that are less expensive, even from the same company but the quality isn’t there.

Loved the flower vine design and the fabric was pretty decent. I was able to easily cut a very long valance into 3pieces for a dining bay window to match the kitchen window valance making an attractive & Affordable DIY project.

These are very nicely made. Go great with the décor I was planning. Colors are off white, cream. Flowers are various shades of blue with some green and beige. See pics.

This pattern is called Brissac Jewel. Skyline Furniture makes a line of furniture in this pattern, sold through Overstock, Amazon, Hayneedle and B&H. You'll have to hurry though, it's almost sold out. I have the matching chair, headboard, and storage bench. They also make a cute little sofa and the chair is available in 2 or 3 styles. I used a very pale green as the background (Behr "Sound of Nature"). You can also buy the fabric by the yard on Amazon to make pillow covers, bedskirts, etc. for a complete classical English Country bedroom. Sometime on Amazon you can find this fabric in pinch pleat curtains too.

This valance is so pretty. The red might be more of a dark pink but it works for my bathroom. I loved that these had all the colors of our various towels. The fabric is a heavy gorgeous fabric. Photo was taken at sunrise, so looks warmer than it really is. My window is about 40" wide, so this fits nicely.
