Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case for HTC One Max (Late 2013) - Retail Packaging

This is my second Diztronic case. My first was on my HTC Rezound. I originally had the extended battery OEM case for my ONE MAX, but it wasn't sturdy and ended up being an 80 dollar paper weight. All that being said, this is a great case. It is thin, light, and I particularly like the puffed out edge in the front which allows me to face the phone downwards.Now the negative, the material makes the phone overheat. It used to happen with my Rezound, and now it's happening with my ONE MAX. It happens whenever it is playing movies and laying on it's back. The light flashes signaling that it's overheating and it gets pretty warm to the touch when you go to pick it up. The simple remedy is to prop it while watching movies, but if you watch for multiple hours, it will overheat.For me, it's not that huge of an issue. The case does what it needs to do, and protects my phone. Maybe future builds will have a better ventilation, but since this was also the case with my Rezound, it's doubtful. They are built to protect your phone, that's the "give" and the "take" is that heavy use will cause heating issues.Overall, I do not think this is enought to mark the product down more than one star. Matter of fact, for the casual user who doesn't watch movies; this is quite possibly a five star product. For me and those like me however, this is the caveat. So for those like me: Prop the phone, or take the case off in the evenings while you're having a netflix marathon. That will surely remedy the problem!

I love this case. I do wish it was thicker just so I know my new HTC ONE MAX is protected. Tried an Otterbox and was very disappointed. I know the problem was specific to their new HTC case cause I have one on my work phone which unfortunately is an iPhone ( I won't go into that ) and its an okay case. Too restrictive though. This Diztronic case all easy access. I don't need flap doors over all the ports. This Diztronic case is a perfect design. Perfect. Oh . . . if it was thicker I would pay more for it , no problem.

The quality of the product is good.BUT! it's not a 100% fit.My power button doesn't not click with this case on.the button works without a problem when it's caseless, but once the case goes on, i cannot push the power button.I decided to go caseless since the i can't push the power button with the case on. SAD.

The screen protector seems like it would do its job, but it's not the full width of the screen, so nowhere near the size of the glass front of the phone. I feel like this will peel off or get nasty around the edges pretty quickly. It's fairly thick, so it's awkward to have it only go around the top and sides of the button and not the whole thing. Additionally, the instructions refer to a microfiber cloth and it came with one wet and one dry towelette, which led to a little confusion when following the instructions.

It appears in the image that the case has a sort of hard backing but is actually all soft TPU. Soft TPU shows and collects dust at an alarming rate. It hugs the phone nicely but just beware that you won't get exactly what is in the picture.

This is my second Diztronic case. My first one was for my HTC EVO 4G LTE. I can honestly sag that they both fit like a glove. This one for my ONE MAX was a little tight to get on the phone at first but I like that because it forms to my phone perfectly. The back flat black finish is great because it doesn't show fingerprints. Plus the access to all the keys works well too. Good job Diz!!!

Where its covers the volume buttons its hard to turn the volume down. Push down it turns up, push up it goes up I have to push the very bottom of it to turn it down

This is the best case I have ever owned. It protects the phone perfectly and I have dropped it many times. It goes on and comes off easily. I love that all of the buttons are covered and are accessed by pressing the raised buttons on the case. I would pay twice the amount because the quality of the case is that good.
