Quality
I bought these for travel and office use - never been anywhere near a DJ table. What attracted me in reviews was build quality and sound reproduction.I can only agree - these will be with me for years, and I will not hesitate to use them in an office setting or on a flight.Re sound, I would say that in addition to the great bass - which is not over the top for any kind of music - the highs are slightly veiled. Removing the ear pads show that the veiling probably comes from the pad material, which makes me wonder how the larger studio pads sound. All in all, five stars for a massive level of quality. I might consider trying other pads.UPDATE 4/2017: I got the other pad sizes from Amazon UK about a year ago, partly out of curiosity. The smaller, on-ear pads have a thinner fabric over the speaker and are thus brighter in the highs. The smaller cavity makes for a slightly more boomy bass than the medium over-ear pads. They also drive much easier - they're louder. My left ear has a bit of a problem with on-ear cans, the pressure closes part of the canal leading to a 2-3 dB muffling of highs. For this reason I don't use the on-ear pads, but I love how they sound. The larger, over ear "studio" pads are interesting. the larger cavity extends (but does not amplify the bass) down to really low frequencies. It's a bit closer to my X2s in that respect. They are also quite comfortable but the velvety material traps dust. The medium pads isolate sound the best.

Promising headphones.
When I received these, I almost returned them because the furnished cord would not plug in to my LG V20. I had to use the cable which came with a Philips Bluetooth headphone. This cable worked fine. These on ear headphone do an excellent job blocking out outside sounds because of the well designed headband and earpads. So far the sound is very good, but should get better as I burn them in. Bass is significant, with good impact. Voices from the Met opera radio broadcasts are excellent. If only the provided cable was good. Well worth what I paid despite this deficiency.

Amazing Headphones for Music, Movies, Gaming.
Been using these headphone for a month now. I gotta say that there are no cons really. Only pros. They sound amazing. The sound is crystal clear and best part about them that the equalizer is flat. Thus, it's easy to tweak them with any equalizer or mixer. I'm using these headphones for music, movies, gaming. Currently connected them through Steinberg UR22MKII audio interface, which is connected to PC. I used Equalizer APO 1.1 software to tweak them a little bit by adding a bit more bass, lowering mids and increasing by a bit highs. Pretty much equalizer is close to flat but that little tweak makes them just perfect for everything. The build quality is just outstanding. Despite full metal build they are still quite light and sit nicely on the head.

The quality is awesome! Music is really good and detailed for a closed can. But the bass is low if you dont have enough juice. These are my first high level cans. So I bought a fiio a3 and the bass boost really helped me. The software eq just doesn't help it. Even with that bass is not airy if you are a bass head look somewhere else

Poor Armin, if only he knew his name was associated with the lower end versions too.
The quality of the speakers is very good, however the head band is very cheap and will probably break in less than one year's time. It's such a shame they choose to go this route with such good quality speakers, good quality cord. The head rest foam at the top is the cheapest fake leather junk that is simply glued on. Very unfortunate Armin associated his name with the lower quality versions, I am certain the more expensive version is super nice.

Great set for noisy environment, great sound.
The sound is true, feel is comfortable, weight is fine. Simply works well, for a very good price.

Frustrating experience
Although Philips announces the detachable cord (PCC130), the item can't be found anywhere on sale. So, six months after my purchase, I accidentally destroyed my cable and, since Philips will not provide me a new cord, my phone.I wouldn't count on Philips costumer service nor recommend this phone, since its pro's (detachable cords) are clearly fake, the sound quality is ok, althought I don't know if it pays the price. The phone itself is pretty resitant and comfortable.

Excelntes
Excelente producto.
