Works great on Abu variety of reels, 1 and 0.5 for mine
I ended up getting quite a few sizes because I was intending to do this and did not want to disassemble my reel to find I needed a different size. Somewhat laziness on my part, but it's also fishing season and I don't have much time to waste. For my black max, Pro Max, and just plain max (newer promax?)they all took one single disc of the 1 mm. I did all three with just one pack of the 1 mm. And I should have enough for one more. My ambassadeur 5500 C3 takes three washers of the 0.5 mm, but since they are slightly smaller in diameter you could do two of these reels with one package. So many of the reviews are about the size of the fabric, but it's pretty clearly listed. If you can read you should know what you're getting. I swapped this out on all of my reels and noticed a big difference. I greased them with some Cals and it's buttery smooth drag. Just caught a 45 inch Muskie two days ago and it worked like a charm.

Tough to cut
If you are not set up to cut this stuff, buy the pre cut ones.

Excellent for Shimano or Any Reel
Shimano 1000 HG Stradic1.00mm which are OEM size thickness NOT .5mm so these are the one's you likely want to replace for the factory felt drag washer.NOTE: Run the drill in reverse to not tear the Carbon when drilling holes.Tips to make from these sheets:Find a washer that is a tad bigger than the top washer in the spool. This is super important and necessary. Do NOT try to cut these with a compass cutter or anything else as it will never be perfect, I tried and it's horrible way to do it except from starting from the center by punching a hole and sanding the outside diameter to a similar size washer then using the factory top washer as the final template.Center the washer on the sheet and center punch with a puncher or make a center pin hole. Cut around to a square. Next drill a hole in the center in reverse to the size you need. It's best to go one size up at a time slowly. Eventually you want to stop at 8.7mm to be perfect for Stradic 1000 center. Now take the washer and place it over the carboxtex and sand around to the closest you can get to the factory metal top washer. Use the factory top washer as a template to eventually sand down to the size needed. Once you are done clean with a brush to remove all the dust. Finally, use drag grease on the carbontex washer to get a drag free smooth drag and to keep the washers from drying out prematurely from heat or friction.

OK in a pinch but poor quality
I purchased these back in 2022, used it on a couple of casting reels (larger cut). Try to make a few smaller washers for my spinning reel this year and the carbon would just separate from the board when punch cut. Terrible quality. I end up making it with the thinner Cardonex and no such issue. Plus the asking price for what you get, not worth the effort. Best to figure out the size you want and buy the pre-cut

Exactly the correct size for a Shimano TLD-5
I used this to replace the drag washer on my TLD5. Using a 7/8" leather punch for the center hole, then carefully cutting around the Shimano stock drag washer overlaid on top of this carbon material, I had a near perfect fit. Using a belt sander to touch up the edges, the new washer dropped into the spool with ease. Coated with Cal's Drag Grease, the Drag performance is silky smooth.

Works but is a very small package
Work as they should. Great for upgrading reel drags. Be aware this is a tiny package of a couple of “sheets” One package will do 2-3 reels maybe. Still much cheaper than buying pre cut drags
