Save money with Blue Apple
These are great! I use them with the Blue Apple containers for my fruit and veggie drawers in the fridge, as well as in potato and onion baskets in the pantry. I change out the refills every 3 months. Produce lasts so much longer with the Blue Apple refills! Highly recommend using them if you want to save money and stop throwing away spoiled fruits/veggies!

BLUAPPLE REALLY WORKS!
I’ve been using Bluapple for many years now and they never disappoint! I also think they last longer than stated, but I date the refill packet before inserting into my plastic Bluapple. I usually include a Bluapple with refills as a bridal shower wishing well gift because they really help to save produce and more people need to know about this wonderful product! I took 1 star off solely because of pricing, and think they’ve become way overpriced.

Making a little bit of difference in longevity of fruits and veggies
I bought these Bluapples sort of on a whim -- not really expecting to have much more luck with them than I have with the special bags marketed as veggie savers.I'm always an overly enthusiastic buyer of fruits and vegetables; but way too often they start to go downhill before I get ready to use them. The green bags that I've tried have offered a bit of an increase in longevity/usability, but usually I ended up pulling limp, soggy bags of unidentifiable organic mass from the fridge after awhile. Some of the bags are intended as washable, but I sometimes pitched them out for the grossness factor. While I think the bags are actually more effective in keeping produce fresh, these little Bluapples are better for me so far simply because I'm more likely to see and use the bin's veggies rather than let them get forgotten in bags. I prefer to keep most of my produce loose in the two fridge veggie drawers so that I can see at a glance what my options are. The blue plastic apple takes up little space in the drawer along with all the real apples and other fruits and vegetables -- and yet its bright blue color is obvious enough that it doesn't accidentally get tossed out into the compost with the past-prime produce.I like that the little apples are refillable with Bluapple Ethylene Gas Absorber Refills. Each refill is supposed to last about three months. When shopping, I'm still overly ambitious about the amount of vegetables and fruit we'll consume in a reasonable period. But, thanks to these little Bluapples, I'm maybe tossing out a bit less worn out produce into our compost bins.
