Blue Wave BWC608 Rugged Mesh Above Ground Pool Winter Cover, 24-FEET, Black

Product arrived before expected date. Instructions seemed to have been wet and had mildew or splatters on them. There were online instructions in a pdf file that was nice although the installation is pretty much common sense stuff. Product was as expected and covered my 18’ above ground pool adequately. Easy to use with 2 people. Hopefully it last through our Missouri winter and a few seasons.

I bought this cover in 2019. It’s now 2023 and I may be needing a new cover for next year. But I will be buying this cover again! It has lasted longer than any cover I have ever used. The water goes through so I don’t have to pump. The wind goes through so no blowing and wearing out. The dirt and leaves stay out. I make it tight so no standing water. Leaves blow right off. I use an inner tube with a yoga ball in the middle under the cover. It keeps the cover out of the water. In the early spring I pour algaecide through the cover. Water is clear when I open the pool. Save yourself some time and cold hands and buy a mesh cover. This one is great.

Have had our 24’ above ground pool now for 28 seasons. It has a large top rail. Have ordered these covers many times (they normally say 27’ round) and not uncommon to get them and they don’t fit or are not cut in a good circle or with fraying seams. This cover’s seems appeared good and plenty of overhang to cover.We get 1 to 2 years normally out of these covers with wind whipping them, so we will see how it holds up.I do wish they’d put double the amount of grommets for the binder though. Even if it cost a little more due to that (or make that an option to buy with double the grommets), it would really help with keeping the cover from flapping in the wind. If they had the double grommets ever 12”, would make a HUGE improvement!

The quality seems about like the others I have purchased in the past. Hopefully it will last.

It does what it should. Water seeps through, . Winch the the wire tight and leaves and debri stay on top. I have a heavily wooded property.

Had several holes in it and some of the grommets were half torn out and backs of three of them were already apart and folded up with cover in the box. Plenty big enough the holes wont come in to play for there is plenty of overlap. Didn't have time to send back so used it anyway. As for durability I guess we will find out this winter.

First one lasted 3 years we are in the PNW so not severe weather. We are totally satisfied with the price and longevity!!☆☆☆

We used this for 2 years it did very well and we have very high winds. It held up well. We did need to add some clamps to keep it down but did a great job. Its starting to show some wear and tear from the winds but still looks in great shape. Very happy with the product.

So this is an update to the previous review. We have had this cover on the pool for two winters now and it is still working perfectly and is still in good shape. We put it on in the fall and remove it in the spring. Makes starting the pool so much more easier. The only problem is when taking off the cover it takes forever for the water to drain through so we used a simple drill pump to remove the water on top of the cover before having to remove it. I would highly recommend this cover!Previous review:The pros: Sizing is great. Installation was quite easy since the cover kinda floats on the pool. The included wire fits easily in the grommets and ties down the cover securely. I will update once we have gone through one of our rough Canadian winters to see how well this held up.The cons: The warranty. Although it's an 8 year warranty the value goes down fairly quickly (50% after 1st year). You also have to ship the used cover back and prepay the shipping for the replacement cover making any return cost prohibitive after 1 year.

Pas ce que je souhaitais. La percolation est TRÈS lente. C’est tissé serré. Ce loin d’un filet à feuille. Donc, attendez vous à avoir le poids de l’eau et les feuilles qui baignent dans l’eau. Pour ma part, je cherchais quelque chose qui me permet de retirer les feuilles facilement à la fin de l’automne. Ne peut pas être suspendu, donc pas possible de laisser dans les airs et soufffler les feuilles. Pas essayer, mais seulement à l’ouvrir et mettre un peu d’eau dessus, je sais que ce n’est pas pour moi. Retourné à Amazon.

I have only had this for one season but it worked great!!! The only issue I had which I’m sure you will get with anything is getting the leaves etc off the cover! I would suggest using a net to scoop out all the leaves before you try pulling it off and have a second person to help as it will hold some water with the leaves and debris. Safety first!

It got perfect the material is little lighter than I thought

Works well. The leaves stay pretty dry on top of the cover as the water seeps right through. Putting it on is easy as it floats on the water but stays dry at the same time. Seems like it would be susceptible to snags as it almost happen to me. I’ll be using it all spring/summer long. During the pool season, I put it on before a windy, rainy day, take it off on the nice ones and leave solar blanket. Haven’t used it over winter yet.
