Comparing prices this was more cost effective for me. I wasn't in a hurry so this worked out well. it was packaged as shown and no issues. It's mostly the wire you see described - I've already used and installed it

I ran this cable to a bathroom attic fan, and I was seriously grateful for the ability to maneuver it around in my attic space. It's WAY easier to deal with than standard 14/3. It's worth the extra money. As a side note, I found this to be cheaper than my big box stores, and it arrived well protected and in excellent shape.

Cheaper to but it here than in store by a couple bucks. Mostly a convenience thing. Southwire has always been my favorite.

Same Romex available at big box hardware stores, but at the time I ordered it, it was approximate $15 less than in stores. Sheathing on this 14/3 NM cable is the new blue color to differentiate it from 14/2 cable from a distance. Worked perfect for adding a smoke detector to a new basement bedroom renovation.
