I regretted not buying more cashmere or wool tartans while I was in Scotland and was so glad to have this option. Compared to prices around Edinburgh, the price with shipping is more than fair. I’m sure I wouldve easily been looking at double at a place like the Tartan Mill or others around the Royal Mile.I got Bannockburn Silver which compliments my grey couch beautifully and gives me a little beloved piece of Scotland in LA. The throw is smooth and soft with nice weight. No odd odors and was delivered quicker than anticipated in 9 days. Money very well spent on something versatile that will last for ages.

Quality beautiful well made should last decades

I have a few other wool blanket/throws that I purchased when visiting Scotland. I wasn’t expecting their quality to be matched with this purchase, but it was. I couldn’t be happier. The colors are beautiful! Can’t wait to cuddle up with it this winter.

I’m a big fan of wool blankets and this blanket is exceptionally made and warm. Typically, a wool blanket of this size (it can fit on a twin bed but not cover it completely) would be double or triple the price, but this is an outstanding deal for $50. It is about the thickness of two bedsheets.It is 100% wool and it does not feel scratchy or itchy. The color I have is Royal Stewart and it is perfect for Christmas. I will definitely order another as a holiday gift.

I'd been wanting a quality, wool tartan throw for many years, but held off due to pricing. Whilst holiday shopping for others, I came across this item and was so smitten with the colors of the 'Buchanan Antique', matching the decor of two rooms in my own house, I decided to splurge on myself, considering The Scotland Kilt Company-Edinburgh pricing was very reasonable. I was shocked at how quickly it arrived from UK to USA, and when I wrapped it around me, I suddenly began to cry! Either I'm an empath, or have more Scottish blood than I realized; anyhow, it was a very strange but special moment! hahaPleased with the quality, I decided immediately I'd purchase two more and have them shipped to my adult children in other states as gifts, but there's been a substantial price increase within nine days of ordering the first throw that now prevents me from doing so, unfortunately.I'm very happy with the one I received; a longing fulfilled. Quality blanket, soft, definitely worth the price. It’s darker gray than in the photos, but I love it anyways. It’s more of a medium, smokey gray which is beautiful with red and black. Here it is with xmas pillows so you can see the colors.

This tartan blanket is beyond gorgeous. it is heavy and warm and the colors are exceptional. Well worth the price for an heirloom like this.

We had bought a similar kind of tartan throw from the Scottish Kilt Company, which we found impressive, very much what we needed. On the basis of that first satisfying experience, we went ahead and bought this second one.
