**Q: Do they have two finishes, shiny with a matte handle??**
A: No.  The finish is a high gloss from end to end.  Really holds thier shine, too!

**Q: Can you sharpen the knives without losing the black coloring?**
A: Why would you sharpen them? they are plenty sharp to cut even tough steak.

**Q: I love this set! unfortunately i accidentally threw away my salad fork. how do i order a single replacement?**
A: Yes, you can. We have tested it in the dishwasher before leaving the factory. However, please use a mild detergent and also dry the surface after washing. Thank you very much!

**Q: Are they black and do they cut well?**
A: I don’t know if they come in the color black. These knives don’t cut well. Mostly for looks. Mine arrived dull. Although, they are a step up from regular butter knives. Do not purchase these. There are better products to be had.
