you might feel a bit heavy, however, it well protects my ipad mini. The white color is very stylish and I like it so much. Itstand up well too. Real leather and has no bad smell. The texture is great. The only problem is when you put it on horizon, you cannot slide out the function bar from the bottom as the case is a bit thick and just fit, so there is no room for you to do so. You can only do it when the screen is vertical up, and the main button area gives you space to slide out the function bar ( for the volume, flight mode, brightness....). I tried some other cases, they are so fragile that the plastic almost broken on the first day (it left white stretch mark on the plastic part ), or others cannot stand up well if you are typing on it. ( it has too little support so you need to hold it tight while typing) . It stands alone pretty well on the surface not that really flat and horizon , such as couch or cushion....etc. Really nice case!

Nice quality, and stable when propped up. The edges sliiiiightly protrude over the lower icons on the home screen when in landscape, but this doesn't impair functionality. All the physical buttons are fully accessible. I got the white version and thought due to on-screen display that the inset color was red; it's not, it's hot pink. (Not currently stated in the product description.) This does add heft and bulk to the mini; good protection though.

I won't fault the case but I realized after a week or two that the iPad mini was better suited to a slim hard-back, no front-cover case. I still have this in a drawer some where but I have not gone back to it. One pro to this style case is it can self prop to watch a video.

Item was shipped quickly and arrived within a few days of ordering. The case is lovely. It is made of soft white leather and has an attractive metal trim in the back. The iPad mini is fully enclosed in the case; a feature that I wanted to make sure the mini is protected. It folds into a very sturdy front stand, that allows you to be able to read hands-free. I am very pleased with the seller and the cover. This is the only case on the market that I found that had both a folio case and sturdy front stand. It has magnet closing. I don't like straps or elastic closures, which this one does not have. I am very pleased with the quality, functionality, and price of this case and the promptness of the seller.Updated-Just Received my Mini: The fit is perfect. All buttons and cameras are accessible. I really like the comfortable way the Mini stands in the case; it is easy to read and type.

The product looks great, the problems outweigh the looks in my opinion.Pros: Great coverage, looks fancy, and the way it stands is quite sturdy.Cons: Smart Cover works only 20% of the time. The ipad shifts a lot in the case. Adds sizable bulk to a very thin product.

As a cover it does it's job protecting the tablet. The standby magenta is either too weak or is mounted slightly offset to make that feature of the tablet to work. This is not a problem - just turn off the iPad when not using it.

The sleep function rarely works so I have to turn it off myself. Not worth paying the return shipping so I'll keep for now but order a different one in the future. I agree with others who said it wasn't real leather.

I have been using this case for 5 days and it is all I hoped it would be. My mini iPad fits snugly within the case, with no possibility of it slipping out. I am secure in knowing that my iPad is well protected since the case covers both the front and the back. The screen is completely visible, plus any control buttons, etc., are all easily accessible. I have a white mini iPad which looks sharp in the white case. I also like the fact that magnets hold the the front cover closed when not in use. I didn't realize until after I placed my order that some cases must be removed during charging to prevent the iPad from overheating. Fortunately this is not one of them, and I can safely leave my iPad in the case while charging. The 3 position built-in stand works quite well too.
