Authentic Jamaican HTB Easter Bun 35oz

Arrived in perfect condition. Fresh and moist. I absolutely enjoyed and would repurchase.

It was delicious and fresh! The bread was moist. Missing Jamaica or wanting to try something new this is a must buy.

It’s rear to find decent Jamaican buns that aren’t moist and flavorful, HTB buns are famous in Jamaica. It comes in 3 sizes. Unfortunately we got a small the first time and that was gone before Easter. Now we choose the next size and was about to finish it before Holy Week and had to force myself to save some. Getting it thru Amazon is a game changer. I look forward to this great quality tasting bun every year and will continue to do so🇯🇲

This Easter bun arrived quickly and came as a full, generous loaf in the original box. I bought it to relive some nostalgia, and it definitely has that authentic Jamaican profile. It’s denser than I remembered — more doughy than moist or fluffy — but still enjoyable in its own way. The sweetness is subtle, which I actually prefer, and you can see the raisins throughout. The spices are well balanced, with warm, aromatic notes like cinnamon that you can smell as soon as you open it. It carries that traditional Easter-bun flavor. The package shows it is indeed made in Jamaica. It’s not exactly how I remembered Easter bun from years ago, but it’s still a solid, authentic product that I’ll enjoy.

I received it on 4/11/20 when the expected was around the 25 so I got it way before the date. It’s very sweet, came in a priority box with a paper to keep the cold in, The box was wrapped in bubble wrap, it’s fresh (expires on June 20, 2020), The box was plastic sealed, huge size bun in one of those plastic wraps sealed tight and secured, the box itself was cold like it was refrigerated. Lots of raisins, if you like buns that aren’t very moist then this is a great choice. It was too dry for me but I drank water with it and it was good. Very filling also. One slice in half would be great. Would definitely recommend.

Wa not as fresh as previous purchases, a bit stale.

Loved this bun, it was soft, fresh tasting and moist. It was done in a week. I will definitely buy another along with the cheese.

If you have never tried this bun before I would say give it a try. It's pretty good and tasty... My daughter likes it so much that the moment it arrived she opened the box. Which was bad because I was going to give this to a friend LOL. Ok, let's talk taste... It's a spiced bun, this one has a cinnamon type of taste. If you are from Spain I would say it's a similar texture and flavor as the Spanish Bar Cake. Except this is different spices more local to the West Indies. Definitely also try it with Cheese as this is how it's eaten. It just tastes better with that type of cheese. Enjoy! Hope you found it helpful :-)
