Leviton 80301-SE 1-Gang Decora Plus Screwless Wall Plate - Black

I ordered these plates because I needed plates that were wider than I could find at my local hardware store. The dimensions of this plate were shown as 0.5 x 3.62 x 6.63 in.The plate is only 2.62" wide and is 4.5" tall.Had to send them back.

Installed a new outlet with the USB chargers built in, and needed one of these wall plates with the rectangular opening vs the two oval-ish holes. Bough this to try, since the outlet is blocked from view by a couch, it didn't matter too much on how it looked. The outlet is a Leviton unit that is made to accept these Decora screw-free wall plates, and it just snapped into place. I don't want to say that it looks a lot more modern than the wall plates that use screws, but it looks cleaner and is more visually appealing vs the screws that usually have chipped paint.

This design is great but I ordered this is black and the inner section that screws into to junction box is white so when you snap on the black cover a small portion of the white shows thru where you would snap it off. I have it on a black island sideways and you can see the white. I don't know why that piece didn't come in black. I know it's not a big deal I just wished the whole thing was black.

Item was made extremely cheap. Would be embarrassed to install these in a location where people could see it. Very cheap, glossy finish that scratches very easily (came extremely scratched). Was sent the wrong item entirely, and then subsequently charged for it. Sorry, but why should I drive 45+ minutes to stop an item off that you messed up? On top of it, these things are probably around 50 cents to make. They charge 8 dollars. Ridiculous, do not buy. Go with Eaton or Le Grand, they made a better product.

I added an extra outlet to my kitchen counter and needed a screwless outlet cover to match the rest. This one worked like a charm and matched perfectly.

Would t buy again didnt fit in my light and came with very little instructions
