great GPU
runs my nephew's game, whereas the other cards that were part of the motherboard did not. Still a bit laggy, but it does the job for a 10 year old!Doing basic things like word processing and browsing, or even watching videos, this will work fine.MSI and Nvidia have always been great computer tech companies, and this proves to be a very solid, and affordable alternative to the top of the line card (which both companies produce as well - just outside my price range for such a young boy's rig)

driver updates are not what I was expecting
When it comes time to update the drivers and card software you MUST use what available on MSI's website. You can't use the newest drivers on Nvidia website. It seems MSI codes their drivers for their specific video cards and Nvidia drivers will not work. I spent 5 hours yesterday trying to use Nvidia drivers with no luck. Win 10/64 bit drivers are native to the OS but they are well over a year old. The newest drivers from MSI are from 3 20 2018. The only cables supplied are the power cable/transformer and a plain VGA cable. If you want HDMI or DVI, you will have to buy them separate.

good for price
built an extra pc in the living room for my girlfriend to use, and this works great for what it is. it is a semi decent desktop... with this card it can run sims 4 just fine, and some other games. not made for graphic intensive games, but fine for general use with light gaming.

Worked fine... until it didn't
Bought this card less than a year ago to use for a media PC hooked up to my television. It worked great until yesterday when the HDMI output stopped sending a signal. D-sub port still works, haven't tried the DVI. I tried a different HDMI cable and a different monitor. I uninstalled/reinstalled the card both physically and in windows. Still no go for the HDMI. I bought this card based on price and excellent reviews, but if it can't hold up more than 10 months... I'm calling it crap.I'd love for someone from MSI to reach out and offer some sort of consolation.

works and is a good price
Advertised on MSI website as being able to run 3 monitors, upon install and driver update I could run 2. Further net search reveals that what is actually meant by runs 3 monitors is 2 being cloned and a third acting as a second screen. for this reason I rate it a 3 out of 5. this component was good out of the box, arrived quickly and haven't had a problem. I could recommend this GT730.

MSI GeForce GT 730 Fermi DDR3 128-bit 2GB DirectX 12
So far I have not had issues surfing the web or playing games. I pulled my MSI GeFORCE 710 out and put in the 730. The MSI GeForce GT 710 has a heat sink on it that might have been getting to warm, it might have been why my screen kept blinking. The 730 has a fan on it and so far it has not blinked yet.

Frees up your CPU for better performance.
THIS IS NO GAMING CARD. That said, this video card does a great job of liberating your CPU for a better desktop experience. I bought this card for use with my desktop computer at school (I am a teacher). It gives my aging 2006 computer a nice performance boost, and gives me the ability to use a projector while I am using my PC. You can probably do some light 3D gaming on it, but if that is your primary goal, Get yourself a GTX 750 ti and call it a day. This card's BEST use is what I described here, and it does it very nicely.
