J is for Jesus
I know how this will sound to people who are Christian, but I was disappointed that J is for Jesus. We celebrate Jewish and Christian holidays, as we are a mixed family. So a lot of our books are more about the commercial side of holidays, which I know a lot of people dislike. Not us. We are all about Easter being the celebration of spring and the Easter Bunny hiding eggs, etc.We have a lot of the books from this series. We love D is for Dreidel and S is for Santa! I guess I was just assuming, since the others are not too religious (P is for Prayer is the most suggestive one in D is for Dreidel), that J would be for Jump or Jellybean... Jesus was just a little surprising, and now I have to explain to my kid why people celebrate Jesus during the holiday celebrating spring time.I know, it is obvious. But I just wanted to forewarn anyone not wanting too much religion in their book that Jesus does make an appearance. Lol

The true meaning of Easter!
We love this series and have almost all of them. I would like to say that I'm thankful that this author does not shy away from speaking about the true meaning of Easter. If you are not celebrating Jesus then you are not celebrating Easter. Everyone has the right to choose what they believe, but an author should not have to censor their books to please the masses. If you don't celebrate Easter, don't purchase Easter books. This book is fantastic--just beautiful.

More religious than other alphabet books in this series
I’m a huge fan of this series, however this one was the most religious which I found disappointing. There are letters designated for Jesus, church and Palm Sunday. For those looking for something more secular (like my family), this might be a pass. On the flip side, this might be a big plus if you’re looking to find board books with these themes.Still 4 stars because the art is spectacular as usual.

Beautiful Illustrations
The illustrations in this board book are beautiful. I also love that it incorporates the Religious aspect of the holiday! So fun & educational, my almost 4 year old is going to love it.

It hints at the reason for Easter
It keeps the reason for Easter out (ie. "C" is for church not cross) but gives the nod of acknowledgement with "J" for Jesus. Lovely illustrations that every child would find relatable somewhere in the pages. Lovely heft and size. It will get many readings

Perfect for Littles
I’m extremely picky when it comes to children’s book. This book is better than I imagined. I love that Jesus is the right color, and not white. There’s representation without the book being too “woke.” It really is perfect- plus the illustrations are so cute and colorful.

Love all these cute little books and I have almost all the holiday ones. Unfortunately this one came slightly damaged though so I returned it.

The cutest board book!
These are the most adorable broad books! I’ve been giving one to my nephew for each holiday this year. The illustrations are darling!

Fun Alphabet Book
We love this entire series of alphabet books! The mid-century feeling illustrations are delightfully detailed with all sorts of fun things to spot, and the word choices for each letter are often amusing. We love using these books to spark conversation about different holidays. The Easter book was a fun addition to our toddler’s Easter basket.
