Great little solar water feature
Works immediately out of the once submerged fully and in the sun. Will not work if there is not full sun (shadows, debris, overcast, or shade impedes it completely). There are many adapters for different water flow capabilities. I suggest attaching suction cups to the bottom if you want it stationary. Otherwise it will float and be mobile which is fine if you want it to do that or if it's being used in a smaller feature. The attached tube and brackets enclosed for this purpose (to keep it in place) are an eyesore, but you do not have to use. You can also leave off all the adapters and water will just bubble out of the top very low. Pump seems durable and capable upon first use. The solar panels will actually determine the longevity of use. Price is about a 1/3 of what a corded pump what be, so take that into consideration. It's perfect, though, if you do not want an unsightly cord or want to put this somewhere where's there no power outlet and hours of full sun. It will obviously not work at night.

Cute solar fountain
The media could not be loaded. Work great and some times too much power for a small pot. Came with many heads and you can choose which style you like. Works well with strong sun. Very good decorationand escalate.your space.

a good, cheap fountain
The media could not be loaded. This fountain works great in direct sunlight, but not at all when not in sunlight. The description on the Amazon page says it will run within 3 secs of sunlight exposure but I just assumed it worked like other solar-powered devices that store some charge to work when the sun is down. It's my fault for not paying attention. Still, it's a nice and inexpensive addition to a small birdbath, and in the partly shaded location it runs a few hours a day to aerate the water. The attached photo shows nozzle B1 when there was some hazy cloud cover. In bright sunshine it makes a fountain around 18" high. Nozzle B5 in sunshine makes a fountain around 24" high. The attached video shows nozzle B4, which I use now. I shortened nozzle B4 by around 1/4" to keep the water in the birdbath.

solar powered fountains
Love these solar lights. I made a fountain using a large planter with plants, then the same planter but smaller and placed on top, filled with water, and when the sun shines, you have a beautiful fountain. Easy to assemble, and made strong enough to withstand wind. I bought 4 more and made these fountains for my friends. Well worth the money.

Worked great but died in 10 weeks
Update: 07/23/23The pump was great while it worked. However, 10 weeks after receiving it, it failed and would no longer work. I don't know if the solar panel failed or the pump itself died. I haven't taken it apart to diagnose the problem. It was never run on an empty birdbath and I would clean it on a weekly basis. I would flip it over when it was out of the water so it wasn't facing the sun to prevent the motor from running without any water. One evening it stopped when the sun went down and the next morning it wouldn't start up. I've now bought a different pump that has the panel separate from the pump so that the panel isn't submerged. Let's see how long that lasts. This pump includes stabilizing straws that keep it centered in the birdbath that I bought with it. Also, one of the included nozzles sprays water horizontally which keeps the water in the birdbath. The ones that spray the water vertically end up splashing the water outside the bath and the water gets drained in 2 ~ 3 hours. With the horizontal nozzle, the water stays for up to 3 days. The pump does stop working when it's no longer in direct sunlight even if it's bright daylight and the sun is shining in other portions of the backyard. It works for 6 ~ 7 hours continuously depending on how you place it.

solar water fountain pump perfect diy project
The media could not be loaded. I received this in 2 days fast shipping . I took it out of the box and diy my own water feature and immediately it worked after putting it in water with the sun out. Great price money for value. It works by the sun so it's easy nothing required for setting up I just cut the plastic attachment to the size of my water feature. Highly recommend good quality it sounds nice for a bird bath or garden relaxzation .It comes with different water attachment for it to rise up . Like it a lot looking forward to sitting outside more

Nice!!
This was super fun to get and put it in our little fountain however not the not this items fault but our fountain water would get covered in like gross green, moss or algae and it clogged the motor so it was due to the water conditioning that the motor stopped however, when it did work, it was awesome and I absolutely enjoyed it for the short time

Twice+ daily refills required
This pump definitely has its pros & cons. The pros are that it's inexpensive, and really pumps the water through it creating at times at least a 16-18" high stream of water. The cons are that if there is no sun, it doesn't work. It doesn't retain power that it can use later. If it's cloudy sometimes I will get intermittent bursts of water which isn't a bad thing, or none at all which is. One other con is that when it's really sunny out that fountain is powerful. So much so that it spews the water right out of the birdbath & onto the ground. What this means for me is that if I want my fountain going all day I have to refill it 2-4 times a day depending on just how sunny it is. If you don't mind refilling a few times a day on a sunny day, this is an inexpensive fountain that actually works.
