Fam member needs this to thicken liquids, scoops easily and mixes well for me. i was using syrup but this works much better for us. i get the large canister im on my sceond one and will buy more.

I use this to thicken flavored water and it leaves the drink 'lumpy' but otherwise works fine. Even long after the recommended 30 minute storage life, it's still lumping along.

I use it to thicken my chocolate pudding recipe. Works like a charm! No taste whatsoever - if it weren't for the thickening, I wouldn't be able to tell it was there.

Have to give this to my dog as she was diagnosed as a pup w/ a condition that requires thick water in order for her not to choke. I like it. It's flavorless. The only downside (barely a downside) is I have found it's best to put in hot/warm water to get it completely mixed/blended in, and then I finish with cold water. W/ cold water, it doesn't mix that great. Not a big deal to have to do.. just a little extra.

After neck surgery I had to thicken my drinks. This did a great job on applesauce but I think I could have done without thickening the water. Thank goodness I didn’t have to use it very long.

A good product. The only problem is with the scoop. When you have big hands and cann't reach in, they ought to have a long handle scoop.

My son has dysphagia - he needs his drinks thickened to nectar consistency. This works well. It's easy to use though different juices require different amounts of the thickener...which is okay as you learn what drink requires the amount needed. I will say that if you use MiraLAX in the drinks - MiraLAX does break down the thick-it which requires one to use more of the thickener.

After my 42 year old husband suffered a stroke this was recommended by his doctors before being released. He was having issues with swallowing regular liquids and they were nervous it would cause further issues. It worked wonders he is now moved off of it. It is flavorless so we were able to add it to other liquids and drinks and he did not notice any change in flavor. We had better luck shaking it up in a blender bottle or using our blender than just using a spoon. He stated it made certain liquids seem like a slush. He did not like it in milk but enjoyed juices better. It did the work and Amazon was able to have it to our house quickly when other stores would have to order it in. I hope to never have to buy it again but if the need does arise I would buy again right away.
